My dad has been unemployed for over a year now and money has been going fast due to the horrible economy.

The thing is that if my dad doesn't get a job in less than two months, we'll have to sell the house and either move into an apartment or move into our not-even-near-to-completion cottage which has no heat, no hot water, and no insulation. Just the thought of moving has been tearing me down. Today my parents realized how badly this problem has affected me. I know it's not on my shoulders, but I just wish to live normally and carefree again, and my parents wouldn't be so stressed out and be on such a tight budget.

I know I've asked this before, and I'm sorry, but we really need it right now because my dad has a job interview in Chicago tomorrow. I really hope to God that this will be it. I think it will be. I just need a little help to make it come true.

Thank you.

Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. I live a little bit closer to Chicago than Demos, if I recall correctly... that doesn't really matter though. There are a lot of cool people in this area, and uh, there is also Mr. Waisztarroz who is about 60 miles south... /wave (630) residents

Congratulations on him getting the job, though -- and if you are going to be moving to my neck of the woods, maybe I will start conjuring up ideas for an EC get-together on my 18th b-day in March! Because as far as parties go, the more the merrier . Fun times for all (Waiszlings included)!

Aaaaaanyways, if you have any questions about Chicagoland (from where to buy applainces to the best places to hang out on Saturday evening) email, PM,or AIM me. Hell, if you want to call me just ask me for my cell number and I'll give it out too. I love to help people out.

Congratulations, again, and good luck to your whole family!

I live in the same town as Waisz, Vise the Stompy, Janus, MorbId, and NecroPope...we're about 30 minutes south of Chicago, although I spend a decent amount of time in Chicago, since my sis lives there. So yeah, I'd be glad to keep an eye out too, and if you let us know what your dad does, I'll ask my sister to check for jobs at her work.

So Mist, if you wanted an EC get-together in the Chicago area, you'd be guaranteed quite a few, just from the "waisz guys" down here.

Edit: Population 630 AFTER waisz moved in mebbe, but it was around 15000.

Actually, if I remember correctly we have someone here from SCHAUMBURG which is only about 10 to 20 minutes away from Northbrook where I live!

So all you Waiszlings, where are you in this wonderful state of ours?

You can see my nice little suburb of Northbrook represented by a red star near the top.

And as for Azakias...

Have I mentioned how much more freedom I have now that I'm in college?

And Jagged, if you arranged one, you'd definitely have me there. I'm only about a 3 1/2 hour drive south

I'm not sure if all of the aforementioned Waiszlings would want their location disclosed, so for all intents and purposes, here's a map to the nearest semi-large city, Joliet.

You're not that far at all. I ended up in Joliet a while back with a good friend of mine on one of our adventures.

You see, we keep driving in a certain direction until we come to someplace we don't know. Then, we figure out which way we would have to turn to get home and go the opposite direction.

The next thing we know, we were at the state prison!

Plus I am always out in the Lombard / Downers Grove / Naperville / Wheaton area anyhow -- I know a lot of people who live there... on top of that, it's a good place to pick up ladies

I know exactly where that's at...although I can't remember wether ZeroG is in Orland Park, Tinley Park, or Mokena; it's right on the borders though...All I know is that the same plaza used to have a gaming store where me and Vise played some MTG and Warhammer 40k.

It's at the corner of Rt. 53 and 75th St. in Naperville

I have been going there a lot lately... You can always tell just by looking around who is going to be leaving at 12:00, too. (Curfew time for those under 17 )

We have so many midwestern ECers that we should definatley have a get together / party of some kind! Too bad that when I suggested this earlier I got maybe 1 response

We'll see what happens a little later on in the year.
