Was in PoN near the hedge, so we were fighting banshess as well, so I hit Holyforge for the first time... got crits for 108 and 195, plus a 173 point crippling blow.
And in about forty minutes, I could try it again... :/
What to now... build some AAs, or stay at 100% regular EXP? Currently I have 20% of my first AA point...
Advice? Comments? Pastry?

I'd say stay at 100% normal exp until at least level 60.
Though spending some time getting Innate Run Speed 3 would be a wise alternative, but other than that, 100% XP is best until 60.
Despite what people tell you, AA is NOT better then levels.
Levels Bring:
Better spells
Better channeling
Better resisting
Better hp
Better chance at invites
Better required level chance
AA can do that, but seperately. Levels are greatest.
It goes fast. At least a percentage point of AA every kill in PoN..
I figure RS3, Innate Regen, Natural Durability, and combat agility will set me up nicely for a while.
Levels are your best bet... You can work on AA on the side, but by far levels are more important and have greater rewards.
Also, not shooting for 60 will hurt your ablity to advance to other planes anytime soon. Trust me... Teir 2+ is waaay worth grinding the level xp to 60 heh.

It's much easier to get AA's once you're 60-62 and can get into Valor.

Pastry.
Anyway, what good at critical hits/crippling blows anyway? They don't count as an extra attack or anything.. am I missing something?
RS3 would be nice for indoor dungeons when you're the puller, but if you're outdoors and have Jboots, no need for RS3 till post-60....
Do whatever you want Mightion, level grinding can get boring, so switch over to AAXP if you want to.

I disagree with this. Run Speed 3 is alright, if you want it, but it's not a "must have" [ 01-20-2003: Message edited by: Skaw ]

I just want to get rid of a buffslot. (damn Tboots.)

A sleep deprived Frog stammered:
With Planes of Power run speed 3 isn't really as good as it once was. You're going to be doing all your grouping outside anyway.
Still, the whole "extra weight reducing bag in inventory" thing is kinda nice, seeing as how I have to carry around a friggin lightstone to see.
Check the Magelo.

You know you don't have to keep the jboots in your inventory to use them, right? You CAN put them in a bag and take them out just to click.

Not when a giant monster that hits for 200+ is chasing me, no..

I love how Luminant Heraldic lives up to its name.
And as my jboots, they're hotkeyed on 1. [ 01-20-2003: Message edited by: Mightion Defensor ]

Yeah well, bite me, kthx.
My Ro BP gave off a fair amount of light, but when a friend of mine gave me a Shissar Scaled BP, I couldn't refuse and say "Thanks for the 8kpp item, but I wanna see at night" Heh.
I dunno, I think I'd be discombobulated if I had more then six bags.
And I wonder why Magelo isn't showing my equipment in inventory..

I know... I had to go back to carrying a lightstone when I made my Mith Marr Field Plate BP... I always try to keep one slot open... having a Rallic pack and EE bag helps.
And I wasn't being snide or gloating. Well, maybe a little...

Or just get a dark elf mask...wait...nevermind
I remember when heat/cold stones were actually items with a single infra/ultravision charge

Shard of the Core (or whatever the hell it is you get at 34). Coldstone with added coolness. Didn't need it when I got it, though (I'm a bloody dark elf...who needs friggin' ultravision items? I make them when I'm being nice to newbie zone people)
Only bad thing is that it doesn't go in the ammo slot, if I remember right.

Vision IS overrated. IF I'm pulling on my monk in a place where it's dark (Akheva, for instance) I'll just grab an acumen from the shaman.
