Oh yeah, I got a surfboard, too.
Since I don't think Wario's Woods is tradable, when my islander asked for it back, I sold it to him, and got 2950 bells for my troubles.
sadf.

Falaanla Marr had this to say about Punky Brewster:
i dont have the GBA cable thing so I cant go and do that islander stuff.sadf.
Around here, that cable is only ten bucks.
Anyway, here's how it works:
1. Leave a golden shovel on the island where your villager can get it on your GBA. [ 01-17-2003: Message edited by: Mightion Defensor ]
2. To be safe, drop three pieces of fruit your villager likes per piece of furniture.
3. On the Gamecube, bury the three pieces of furniture, and drop the fruit.
4. Transfer island to the GBA.
5. Feed the village fruit until he's happy and starts coughing up money bags.
6. Have your villager pick up the golden shovel.
7. Direct your islander to the spots where furniture is buried. If he's happy and has a golden shovel (clap your hands) he'll bury something else in it's place. You can tell if he buries an NES game.
8. As always, have him eat the rest of the fruit for more money bags.
9. Ride the boat back to the island, and dig up the furniture. Don't worry about the golden shovel; even if your islander still had it last, it will be where you left it.
