There's rock music in Diablo 2?

They gave a 50% to the Sims. Is that like giving an F to life?

I like this guy after reading a few of his reviews, actually, and don't see why he should be mocked.

Every other Christian game review person goes on and on and on and on about how these things will lead you to go to Hell just for playing them and you shouldn't let your children go near it.

He just informs people with beliefs similar to his what the games/movies/music contain. He even had a little blurb about it:

quote:
It is not our intention to criticize this game or any of today's entertainment. Our job is to help you understand the values that are being encouraged through this game and with much of today's entertainment. It is up to you to set guidelines for your family.
You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Yeah, I have to agree. He's clearly aimed himself for Christian audiences and makes fairly accurate judgments.

Some of the stuff is a little extreme, but if you don't speak harshly, even if mean a lot, you won't be taken seriously.

He puts alot of weight on occult stuff in games.

He rates GTA3 higher than he rates Diablo. That feels sorta wrong to me.

Beyond his occult/religion over bias, he appears to write fairly good reviews for parents to use.

I believe in the existance of magic, not because I have seen proof of its existance, but because I refuse to live in a world where it does not exist.

He even admits to having fun playing the games. He's just pointing out things people with a belief system like his would want to avoid, leaving it up to them to ultimately decide. He didn't even condem GTA3 or Max Payne. He even admitted Max Payne was fun.

I also try to be direct and honest, but it always ends up with people complaining about me being to direct and honest. Why does everyone want to have there feelings asuaged by trivial lies?
