Check his reviews on Harry Potter as well
They gave a 50% to the Sims. Is that like giving an F to life? [ 12-26-2002: Message edited by: Fazum'Zen Fastfist ]

Every other Christian game review person goes on and on and on and on about how these things will lead you to go to Hell just for playing them and you shouldn't let your children go near it.
He just informs people with beliefs similar to his what the games/movies/music contain. He even had a little blurb about it:
quote:
It is not our intention to criticize this game or any of today's entertainment. Our job is to help you understand the values that are being encouraged through this game and with much of today's entertainment. It is up to you to set guidelines for your family.

edit: not really a diss on the poor guy, I just found that funny. He did give good reviews it seemed [ 12-26-2002: Message edited by: OtakuPenguin ]

Almost posted the same. I've seen much worse. This guy doesn't seem to be condemning.

Yeah, I have to agree. He's clearly aimed himself for Christian audiences and makes fairly accurate judgments.
Some of the stuff is a little extreme, but if you don't speak harshly, even if mean a lot, you won't be taken seriously.

In comparison, no. Standing alone... He's still a bit extreme for my tastes.
primary example: His JK2 review.
My views ain't extreme, mister, they're common sense! teehee
He rates GTA3 higher than he rates Diablo. That feels sorta wrong to me.
Beyond his occult/religion over bias, he appears to write fairly good reviews for parents to use.

I like how he actually plays the games
Faz, for everyone always condeming you(or you blatantly declaring your hatred/desire to impale us with your fists) this seems like a first in all these christian reviews
The other site everyone has probably posted one time or another on EC or another board is filled to the brim with PLAY THIS GAME AND YOUR SOUL IS DAMNED TO HELL AND BEYOND, this guy actually rates the game.
Gratz to him

Whenever you say that, I get the image of June Cleaver wagging her finger at some large man in a business suit.
Understandably, you're quite housewifey.

Oh. Thank you, hehe. Didn't you score similarly to me on the Hartman personality test? Maybe that has something to do with your "tolerance" to me.
Very similiar if I recall, I scored a tad less on red and didnt have any zeros in any of the other 3 catagories.
Basic philosophy of my life is this: Get the job done through any way possible, without undue consideration for reprecussion.
AKA: Do it, get it done, worry about the consequence afterwords

You do remind me of myself Faz, although with a a bit less personal charisma and more directness

If it wasnt for the fact that I know your only saying that because anyone reading it will find it funny I would bne insulted.
My charisma is the kind that comes from smooth talking, and then being able to offer advice on any subject and make it sound good.
I also try to be direct and honest, but it always ends up with people complaining about me being to direct and honest. Why does everyone want to have there feelings asuaged by trivial lies?

Most of the part of my previous post that conerned you was drawn from your simotanous helping me on advice for party-ing
