Haven't had a single in an adult tooth.

I've had 0 myself, but one of my teeth hurts right now.

I don't think it's a cavity, though.

I need to brush more often. once a day doesn't cut it

I'm not much into sweets and I brush twice a day.

Never been to a dentist though. Just those routine school checkups.

There was a signature here... it's gone now.

Me too, and I brush like once every 2 days, but I think the secret is brushing really good the day before you see the dentist

Well, my teeth didn't form correctly, leaving deep crevasses on the chewing surfaces. So, despite my best efforts, I've had 5 or 6 small cavities.

Same.. However, I chipped a bit of my tooth a week or so ago and the dentist says it needs a filling

There goes a clean record.

For the first 22 years of my life I was cavity free.

Then I got 2 cavities. Small ones.

Then I moved to the USA, where the resulting change in diet (still eat the same, just some ingredients are different, etc.) apparently upset some metabolism and in relatively short order I developed 11 more. Or rather, 9 new ones. And my old 2 ended up needing to be re-drilled and re-filled because the original filling had come loose.

Then, I moved back here. I had one wisdom tooth pulled. I need to have another pulled soon.

My dental history was just fine for the first 22 years, just the past 3 it's gone to utter hell.

(I brush my teeth three, sometimes four times a day; yet, I can't seem to escape the horror that is cavities).

All my cavities were in baby teeth.

My adult teeth are good for now, but I will soon have braces.

Technically I've had three, but I lost one due to baby teeth, and I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 16, but I've had good luck thus far. The original two was because I was a dumb kid, but the third one was thanks to a inborn flaw in one of my molars which didn't erupt till later than it should've, which had to be filled of course.

I brush my teeth for five minutes each day with an electric.

It borders on being unhealthy.

Yup.

My excuse is the fact that I have borderline gum disease from my years of stupidity as a child. I'd rather keep it in check, and if possible get it to regress.

And it has. A lot.
