O' how the mighty have fallen.

Anyways. I'm getting a decent trade-in deal, and should be able to grab about four games just from trades.

I know I'm getting SSBM, Metroid Prime and Animal Crossing.

What for the fourth and maybe fifth?

I've heard a lot of good about Eternal Darkness and the new Starfox.

Completely forgot about that one.

And Starfox is out, I've got enough RPGs for now.

Starfox and ED have almost NO replay value whatsoever. At least with prime, you'll be ripping your own genital hair out fighting the bosses on hard mode.

Take a look, Robotech is fun (Though cell shaded.. But if you like anime, the animation "Style" of the game fits in perfectly with it.), as is a lot of others.. Ask your local EB-ian.

ED's definitely on my list to get when I pick up a Cube. They had that one set up for a while at Wal-Mart on the Cube there. Scary, but fun.

Mario Sunshine was...okay. I think I'm just getting bored with Mario or something.

Starwars: Bounty hunter looks good from the commercials.. Erm..

Oh, Resident Evil 0 is a must buy if you liked any of the series.. They really live up to the standard puzzle solving in this one.. and you get to control two characters at once (Expect the generic "I'll hold the switch, since I'm a big strong man.. You go and fight the zombie dogs, k?" puzzles. )

I love all the games I've bought thusfar. Highly reccomend:
Metroid Prime
Super Mario Sunshine
Phantasy Star: Online (Multiplayer only that is)
Resident Evil (Zero if you wish)
SSBM
And,
Eternal Darkness (though you can probably rent it once or twice and beat it. No more challenging than a Resident Evil)

I'm by no means a huge Star Wars game fan, but those commercials are making me seriously consider becoming one.

Super Mario Sunshine

What do you like and dislike about this? I've not gotten to play it more than you would some demo time, and I've heard nothing but good about it, but I just wasn't too impressed. Is it something that starts slow and gets better as it goes along?

A good fighter would be Bloody Roar: Primal Fury. It can be alittle cheap sometimes, but its still fun.

Eternal Darkness has SOME replay value, it's just limited. There are three different paths you choose to take in the very begining. Each path changes certain things within the story and game. Not to mention the game just downright kicks ass to begin with. Specially for a first generation game.

Starfox Adventures has no replay, but it's a good solid run for the time spent.

Robotech: Battlecry has replay value, multiplayer value, and just downright looks sweet.

I don't like the RE series at all, so wont offer any opinions on them aside from If you LIKE the series, omfg they look so damn sweet. Monica loves the series and plays them all, they are so gorgeous and so immersive it's not even funny.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is as fun as it ever was if you ever liked it to begin with.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Allaince is now out.

Haven: Call of Kings will be out shortly.

If you like Mortal Kombat, the new one kicks MAJOR ass, and is horribly fun to play.

James Bond 007: Noghtfire is about as close to a Goldeneye follow up as there is, and is a pretty sweet little FPS/Racer/Adveture.

Worms Blast... What needs to be said.. It's WORMS!

Medal of Honor: Frontline

StarWars: The Clone Wars, vehicular combat at it's finest. Looks good, sounds good, fun to play. Multiplayer or alone.

BloodRayne, fun, gory, sweet looking. Devil May Cry meets buffy, meets WWII Nazi germany.

X-Men: The Next Dimension, pretty fun little fighter.... Gets old on yoru own though.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, is very fun, very cool looking, pretty entertaining.

That game has the coolest commercial EVER!

You hear this deep, thinned out breathing noise as the camera pans over a little area of a pond. There's grass sticking up all over the place, and suddenly a hand reaches into view and clamps the thumb over the top of one of the blades of glass. Suddenly the breathing stops and bubbles start to come to the surface. This goes on for a few seconds until an alien guy finally splashes out of the water to come face to face with Jango.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Wait a week or so. Rumor has it that the prices on the X-box, PS2 and Gamecube are all going to drop again within the next week.

X-box PS2 to $150 and Gamecube to $100.

Bloody Roar 2 for PSX kicked ass. I got to play an 'unfinished' version of BR3 on PS2 while at kon one year... that would be the game that would make me buy the PS2 right there...

And from what I've heard, the CameCube version is every bit as good, and in some areas better.

That is a straw sticking up through the water so the alien can breathe. Jango has been hunting him and he hid in that lake. Jango clamps his thumb down on top of the straw so he can't breathe, then he begins suffocating, and finally surfaces only to see Jango staring him down.

Well you can already get a $50 rebate on the now-$150 GameCube, so I can see it going for $100.

And I thought the PS2 was already $150.

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

Except they'll only give you maybe $10 for it, fully functional or not.

I did that today. Bought the cable, my friend sold some of his SNES and N64 games, and bought Fusion. Then we went to his house, I finished Prime, hooked up Fusion, and got the suit.

He'll be busy beating Fusion tonight so that I can play Metroid tomorrow.

H8 doublequotes.

I beat fusion in about four and a half hours, with barely half the stuff, and only like, 11/20 energy tanks.

I suck.

Btw, D, did you TELL them it was borked, or did they have a TV in the back to test it?

He beat it on Emulator before it came out in about 5 hours. And it was harder on Emulator because you can only hold two buttons down on the keyboard at the same time.

Shouldn't take him any longer than that to beat it with an actual GBA now, heh.
