So what's the big deal with Verant giving necros new torba spells with PoP?

I mean, apart from the new pet shrinky spell, it's the only new pre-60 spell. So why did they feel the need to toss in a 400 point nuke at level 49? O_o

Particularly when we already have a pair of nukes better than that - IB and Insidious retrogression.

I'm not complaining, I just find it odd

So you can run around n00bie zones and blast things to impress the residents?

It's cooler to blast things and turn them into skeletons with my 500 damage nuke that I got a spell level earlier, though.

What the dilly, yo.

IB is all or nothing

The other spell is just like a normal DD spell isn't it?

1) What the hell is IG? I'm talking about Torba's Poison Blast, level 49 poison based 400 damage nuke.

2) Yes, all necro nukes are standard nukes, to the extent of my knowledge.

Probably to give a nuke that doesn't change shit into skeletons.

    Tends to piss raids off.

There already is a non-skele version of IB and CB.

Nevermind the fact that it's an ultra-rare drop from chardok.

Look at the login screen and the PoP box and the website... The name Verant does not exist in relation to Everquest anymore.

It is more accurate to refer to them as SOE now.

    Just a heads-up.

Yeah I didn'tr quite understand this nuke either. Bad Ratio, low damage, casting time is only slighly lower than IB and IR.

However., I did like thge pet shrink spell. Quite useful to be honest.

Heh, and they gave better versions of those two nukes to Shamen.

IB has a stun component as well. But they take seperate resist checks I believe. I know I can IB Giants even though they are imune to stun spells.

Well, they gave wizzies a gate/xloc/port to Knowledge, and, get this, A batwingless self only lev/DS/fr buff. O`Keil is good for something, I guess.

As for the crap they gave pallies, a 2.0 cast time 250 mana 120 hp group heal. Woo woo~ group hug, bishes.
And a group Divine Glory for 3x the mana at 5 less hp. Whee. /targetgroupbuff gets used as Delphi now.

Wizards already had self-only infra/ultra buffs.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Hmm. I skipped most of the sight line, since, you know, magnifying my view pretty much sucks since the clip plane doesnt go out accordingly, but I was under the impression that you couldn't use the infra/ultra vision without having the magnified view up at the same time.. Maybe its at level 34...

I think the Level 49 Familiar gives Ultravision (I know it gives See Invis), but I'm a Dark Elf, so I dunno, .
