Careful, DAoX isn't as stable with DAoC as EQW is with EQ. Lots of known bugs with it, from what I hear. But that's what you get when you go third-party

EQw crashes all the time for me. DAoX never crashed after I figured out how to fix it. EQw still mystifies me.

I've had no errors with DAOx other than the one that does an illegal op when I quit out of DAOC, which isn't really a problem.

DAoX closes for no apparent reason, with no error message, on me all the time.
You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

I've never had a problem with it.

Did you know if you added the windowed=1 line to the user.dat and then lowered the resolution in-game, then closed and reopened, it would work windowed WITHOUT DAoX? Only difference is that it wouldn't have a nifty generic windows box to move it around on the screen. It would just sit in the upper lefthand corner of your desktop.

You could try that.

I still error out randomly.

Probably cause I run WinME and I noted the read-me said he was working on fixing an issue regarding WinME and Win98se.

I have that command line in the txt file, and if I run DAoC without DAox and try to switch to another window, DAoC will close out.

I got the resolution set to the same size as my desktop, I just auto-hide the taskbar and it looks full-screen.

DAoX doesn't have problems with running, it's just a lot less user friendly than EQw...not that EQw is all that user-friendly.
