I dont know why everyone hates final fantasy series?
I have like every single one of there gaems exept number VIII because that one sucked. I hate the characters some time but no the game play. BTW Tidus is by far the most hated character EVER!!!!
just think about how much i suck in REAL LIFE!

How could you NOT like FF games? Yeah, 8 sucked, but even the NES ones were good for their time...

I just hope it lives up to the FF name...

Hey, I liked 8. Hate 10 though. Lets see, there's a stupid insult to the insult version of fag, Tidus, and a she-male, Yuna, being stupid and fagadelic together. Did I point out it has a really bad, annoying Hawaiian whos weapon is a ball? And then there's Auron. He would be cool...IF he ever said, or did, anything. Rikku's tolerable. Lulu's...depressing but not in a necessarilly bad way just in a gets really annoying when she won't shut up way.

I hated VII, VIII was decent, and the ones before that plus IX are the best in my book, but I haven't finished X yet. I didn't like it when I rented it recently.

Havn't played 8, 9 or 10 yet.

Really should get off my ass and at least play the rest of the series on PSX. Like I'll ever get a PS2

untill the end i thgouth 9 was the best ff since 5, everythign after you go to zidanes home planter though jsut uscked os much, but i still think its the best og the playstation ffs

i really liked adn hated ff10 at the same time, on the one side, the engine and everything was great, the story was decent, lulu was the best ff cahrecter ever, but it just seemed to be lacking that ff feal, blitzball was awful, story lacked twists, no world map was kinda resticting, adn the game lacked any real challange

I'm sorry, I like ALL the characters form ALL the games. Whenever I think about how how I don't like a certain character, I think about what RPG's would be like without the Final Fantasy series, and shudder.

I mean, sure FF8 might not have been that good, compared to FF7 or 9, but compared to something else that was coming out the time; Legend of Legaia, it was amazing! The only competition Square has in this market is their own previously made games, really no other series has come close to it. I've always liked the FF games because of the new plot and character you'd meet each time, I'm afraid this games not gonna do that. It's like getting another Starcraft expansion when I was hoping for WC3.

I like all the FF's I've played except the first one, but mostly because I didn't play it until long after I've played newer, better RPGs.

And I felt the PSX FF's were too easy compared to the SNES ones. Except maybe FF8, that one can get tricky in parts.

It's not like the traditional FF team is working on this game or anything. Odds are they're busy making sure FFXI doesn't suck.
