I don't fly, I panic like friggin nothing, I can't handle cabin fear.

See, this is why I posted the other thread asking about the times of other people's arrivals and departures, and who needed rides. Bajah, if you need a ride from the airport, I'm pretty sure that I could swing by McCarran airport to pick you up and shuttle you wherever you need to go. (Although, if you're staying at Callalron's place, I'll need someone to give me directions on how to get there...)
Synjari, I think most people affiliated with the wedding would read a post by you about the wedding. Think you could make a post checking whether or not everyone flying in has rides to where they're staying?

UBT is having issues at work.. he might be getting called in to work on Saturday and he is trying to get out of it. He is taking it up with his other supervisors because he had requested leaved prior to them telling him he had to work weekend duty.
I cant drive.

So..
We are working on trying to get UBT off so he can help.
The other thing is that Geeorn will be here, and he has a car. He knows the way to the airport and to my apt. That will be another option for Fae.

Oh, no worries about that, Fae. My dad's side of the family usually travels like a militia themselves, I'm used to people being armed with some sort of firearm or knife. Hell, I'm gonna be trying for a concealed weapon permit for myself sometime here in the future.

Only way you can carry into an airport is if you have a Federal Concealed Carry license (those are given out only to US Marshals and Deputy Marshals last I heard), or if you've checked the gun as baggage, unloaded and (I believe) without ammo in the same bag.
A state concealed carry permit doesn't cut it for airports, and even if it did, it wouldn't matter because it wouldn't be recognized in Vegas anyway.

Not guns, knives. Otherwise, what you said is correct, except for parts of Arkansas and LA. You can carry arms across lines in to Texarkana for example.
Tho, I do reccomend not opening your suitcase to get it out in the airportimmidiately after arrival.
Or, you can do like I do, when I traveled by plane.. and pick up something while you're there. I'm sure theres many shops around Vegas that you can browse through. And you can always ship it home when you leave.
As for freaking people out.. that only happens if you carry openly. Like, an 18 inch Arkansas Toothpick strapped to your leg. (That, my friends, will get your ass tossed outta Wal-Mart in a hurry) While I was in high school, I carried everything from butterfly knives, to a 9 inch skinning knife, to a 13 inch tanto.. never had a problem, because I kept it to myself.(Yeah, i was a bit paranoid) But, the school had no metal detectors, and I didnt trust them OTHER fuckers who I knew were packin..
Anyways.. yeah...
