[1]
The warm wind talks through the trees
On one more summer day.
Familiar voices sooth my soul
While my mind is so far away.
Another day in a world thats not real,
Thinking about how you made me feel,
Wondering who well be when we meet again.
[chorus]
I wait out my loneliness
On an island of doubts and dreams.
Waiting for someone to come and find me
Lost among the trees.
[2]
Its hard to live your life
In someone elses scheme.
Or maybe its just me.
Trying to find myself,
I end up being someone else,
Mysteriously.
I stay up all night,
Waiting for the sun,
For something to come,
When its too hot to sleep.
It gives me too much time
To look over my life
And wonder where Im going,
And question where Ive been.
[chorus]
[3]
I wake up at 9,
To sounds down the hall,
Or sounds down the street.
I start another day this summer,
A day just like every other,
Only whats on the news is unique.
