Something that can't be explained easy, cause trying to explain it makes it sound stupid, but it's really not..
Think Harvest Moon, minus RPG, replaced with Life Sim, and a buncha other stuff.. Too hard to explain.. You'd have to play it to understand it. NGC Exclusive, didnt think you had an NGC, so it may nore matter.
I don't have one yet, but I plan on getting one.
Hopefully that will be my present to myself if I get that other position

Yes, In Animal Crossing you can trade across the country, WITH NO INTERNET CONNECTION

How the fuck does that work out?

I really don't know, but, it DOES.
Anyways, when you choose to send this item it dissapears from your inventory and the game sends you back a complex item id (kinda like a cd key, each one is unique) and then you give the person who you are "Sending" this item to the ID that the game gave you. The receiver then goes to some menu or other and punches in this code and gets the item, after this code is used once it cant be used again.
Correct me if Im wrong but thats how I THINK its done.

Of course, you'd be able to use the same code several times if you used different machines/memory cards. And then you'd be able to use THESE items on the other machines to get more of the item!
Wow. Duping in Animal Crossing. I'm just a munchkin, alright?

You'd have to have the exact same name/town name to get that to work. and you'd have to use most of a memory card to make another town (it uses 57 blocks)

What's wrong with using the exact name/town?
And like I said, you'd need several memory cards. But like Liam figured, you could just reset before saving and THEN use the code!
Of course I guess if you make a file where the town and charater name is the same I guess you could consider that duping =/
And it's name/city specific.
