The Begining
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GM: Dominant blackness overshadows the area, and howling winds begin to the blow over the courtyard as lightening flashes ominously above. Shards of fractal seething light arch wickedly towards the earthen floor as you stand around watching. It is the only semblance of light that you can see. Shadows flitter in your field of vision, yet no sound can be heard over the deafening roar of the heavens.
All around you blackness creeps, wanting, waiting. Its overbearing sense of dread weighs down on you like a thousand stones held up by your sheer force of will. [Will save for everyone except Kardan and Nevia versus DC: 20 or suffer morale failure.] The winds stagger you where you stand, and the force is overbearing.
Without warning, and as suddenly as it appeared, the blackness begins to turn and swirl in an ominous vacuum of vileness. The torrent of winds and hatred begin to swirl and coalesce in place over the holding chambers where Nevia and Kardan are being held. Then a massive funnel appears and begins to twist savagely in place over the area, its darkened eye descending ominously towards the holds as if feeding something unseen there. Suddenly, and unexpected, there is a deafening hollow thud that reverberates the ground beneath your feet, and shudders the buildings and earth nearby. Silence follows, a hollow emptiness that saps near all sound save the sound of your own beating heart. You can hear it clearly in your head, the steady thump thump, thump thump. Yet no other sound permeates the area. Thump thump, thump thump, goes your heart as the light slowly returns.
Abbigail WolfStalker makes a Willpower check, rolling 16 + 4 = 20

GM: ((Second part))
GM: The silence is more deafening than the loudest sound imaginable, and wickedly barbed rays of red light dance viciously through the area One of which, striking Abbigail squarely in the chest.With almost still frame type movements, Abbigail turns to face you, her jaw slack and her eyes wide. A pure look of total disbelief and non-understanding etched solidly on her youthful face. You have merely a second to look upon her face, and in that instant realize just how young this youth of a girl actually is, before her face goes blank and her eyes glazing roll back in her head. Then she falls, unmoving, unbreathing, unsensing for the last time with the glazed look of the dead already upon her. For the first time, the realization of your situation hits you, and the point is driven home. Innocence has paid the price, and never again will it know the joys of life. With the dying of an age, the death of youth is a sacrifice the unworthy have made.
GM: From somewhere distant a sound begins to form, the sound of a child screaming. So far away, yet assuredly so near. It takes but a moment to look up, and see the form of a young girl in flames running towards you, her arms outstretched in fear and pain. The small child's face reflects her torment as seething fire eats at her innocent flesh. She runs towards Pierce, suffering, and tears, visible in her now heat dried eyes, and reaches out for him in hopes of some deliverance from her suffering and crumbles to ash before your very eyes
Then The shockwave comes. A thundering boom, which shakes the very heart of the world beneath your feet. You find no way to maintain your balance, and are blasted to the ground by a painful jolt of energy, while the land before you reels and quakes unhindered in your vision. Sound returns then. A blast of roaring flames and screams of the innocent fills your ears as the elves of Evrealan run haphazardly through the courtyard in fear and disbelief. Vel has awoken, and his shackles are getting weak .

Zarina: Verily, you are our only hope.
D'Svyat takes Abbigail off the horse, and walks to the centre of the group..
Kardan: I was tasked with a mission. That mission was a fraud, as I delivered the key to salvation right into the hands of the foe I sought to destroy
GM: Lhandriel has fallen asleep in her saddle and doesn't move, but snores loudly.
Pierce Ellinon: Kardan, there are none of your people left to be a traitor too, I understand how you feel with your father saying what he did, I do not though, know how painful it must be to lose all that you have, I am sorry for your loss.
Cerywyn Moonshadow: And now we ride to stop that... is that not a worthy task?
Kardan gets off the horse and kneels down on the ground, sword scabbard beneath his knees
Cerywyn Moonshadow reins in her horse in the clearing and watches the others...
D'Svyat: Kardan... Jade...
Zarina smiles gently, dismounting, and moving over to Lhandriel, lifting her gently from her saddle, and moving to a tree. (D'Svyat
Jade Shebari in an act of kindness.. steers her horse up to Lhandriel's and takes the reins as she leads it along with the group
Kardan: Jade's family dead... my fault..
Zarina lays the snoozing cleric beneat the tree.
Cerywyn Moonshadow dismounts and helps Zarina, but watches the others too
Cerywyn Moonshadow looks about the clearing, and nods to herself, as if agreeing with the placement....
Kardan: My sister.. dead. and to think I fought side by side with her killer..
Kardan: I was played for a FOOL
Pierce Ellinon dismounts looks to Kardan and then D. "Camping here I take it?"
Kardan slams his fist into the ground
D'Svyat shakes his head.
Cerywyn Moonshadow makes her way to D`Svyat...
D'Svyat: Kardan.. Jade..
Zarina removes her scalemail shirt, and rests it on Summer's saddle, removing a crude brush from the bag on the side, she runs it through her hair gently, as she walks towards the rest of the group.
Cerywyn Moonshadow: *quietly to D* Do you need help?
Jade Shebari looks at D'Syvat as she dismounts
D'Svyat whispers, "shortly..."
Kardan: and to think...
Kardan: Nothing was to stand in the way of all this. Not friend, not family...
Cerywyn Moonshadow nods to him, and steps away a little... giving
him roomD'Svyat gently sets Abbigail on the ground, looking sadly at her young, empty features..
Kardan: If things got out of line.. I was ordered to deal with the problem... killing if necessary

Pierce Ellinon leans up against a tree, closing his eyes for a few moments and tries to gather himself
Kardan looks up in the sky blankly
Kardan: Time.. for what
Jade Shebari nods at D'Syvat
Kardan just stares up at the stars
D'Svyat gently lowers Kardan's face level with his, looking into Kardan's eyes with pure empathy.. "Time for final farewells.."
Jade Shebari: aww.. not the banshee?
Jade Shebari snaps her fingertips
Kardan 's eyes narrow slightly. "What are you talking about?"
Cerywyn Moonshadow looks at Jade sympathetically, then moves beside D`Svyat
D'Svyat looks very sad, tears welling in his eyes, and looks to Kardan's daughter, and looks back.
Cerywyn Moonshadow: *kneels before Kardan and speaks quietly* Your daughter Kardan.... she is waiting for you to say goodbye...
Jade Shebari snaps out of it and looks at D'Syvat
Pierce Ellinon opens his eyes and looks at Kardan "Time to say your final good bye to Abbi Kardan."
Cerywyn Moonshadow: *looks up at Jade* Your daughter too.... She needs you both now... she needs you to be strong...
D'Svyat: There are trees here, beneath an open sky...
D'Svyat: It feels... right.

Zarina watches silently, sitting on her knees, sword in her lap, much like Kardan, listening to the others, eyes closed.

D'Svyat kneels slowly beside Abbigail, a single tear dropping onto her chest, and gently lays her arms across her chest.
Zarina lets her finger trace the wolves along her scabbard, murmuring prayers beneath her breath.
Jade Shebari stands up and moves away
Cerywyn Moonshadow steps up beside Jade
Pierce Ellinon stays near the tree not feeling very comfortable with all the sadness.
Cerywyn Moonshadow: *quietly* dont.. she still needs you at her side for this...
Kardan: My little angel....
D'Svyat strokes Abbigail's cheek gently, and looks at Kardan, and
Jade, tears in his golden eyes..
Kardan: From the first day I found you in hiding...
Zarina: May the young one walk with the Goddess...
Kardan: I took you as my own.. raised you as my own...
Zarina stands, and moves over towards the tree where Pierce is, feeling similarly.
GM: Kardan she is still wearing the jeweled bracers you gave her as a graduation gift from the academy at so young an age.. The shiny brightly in the moolight.. Almost as pristine as the day you gave them to her.
Pierce Ellinon glances at Zarina and moves away to another nearby tree.
Kardan runs his fingertips across the bracers
Kardan: You were not of my blood.... but you will always be my daughter..
D'Svyat closes his eyes, tears running down his cheeks.
Jade Shebari looks at Cerywyn
Jade Shebari: I.. I dont know what to do..
Kardan removes Abbigails swords from their scabbards
Pierce Ellinon glares at Zarina and whispers to her "Not the time. Leave me be."
Kardan takes the longsword and places it on her chest, hands wrapped around the hilt, blade facing down
Kardan: Run free my angel... you are one with the wind now...
Jade Shebari sits down with her legs crossed and places her hands over Abbi's abdomen.
GM: A breeze blows and ruffles her amber hair.
Jade Shebari: It is true..
Jade Shebari: You were not my own..
Jade Shebari: not of my blood..
Jade Shebari: You let me be your mother..
Jade Shebari takes out a shard of her mirror and cuts her hand once more, letting a few drops of blood spill over Abbi's body
Jade Shebari: You are now of my blood
Jade Shebari: My blood.. and that of my family..
Kardan takes the piece of the mirror that Jade gave him and does the same
Zarina walks out of the clearing and into the forest
Jade Shebari: My brother and his wife would have accepted you with open arms.. with this shard.. I ask the spirits and gods that be.. that your spirit will always remember..
Jade Shebari: You are my daughter.. body and soul..
Jade Shebari lays her palm flat down on Abbi's abdomen.
Jade Shebari: I love you..
Zarina moves away from the group abit, drawing her sword, and sighing gently, closing her eyes, and trying to remove hersel from her situation, making slow strokes and motions with her sword, in a way, meditating, and practicing, at the same time.
Jade Shebari: Go with the gods and run among the forests as a free spirit..
GM: The amulet around Abbigails neck begins to glow faintly, you can also hear a faint twinkling sound
Kardan stares at the amulet
GM: Off, in the distance, a whispering wind is heard through the trees, and a lone, young, white wolf appears at the edge of the clearing.
GM: She quirks her head at you for a moment, and looks on silently at you. Then, as silently as she appeared, she dissapears, padding off into the moonlight.
D'Svyat sings softly, a quiet, slow song, about the Slae'tin reaching her destiny...
GM: You can hear singing among the branches, and a small echo of remorse, the children of the night morn the loss of innocence in the sweet night air.
Jade Shebari: ((fuck you Billie!))
Jade Shebari: ((gonna cry again))
GM: Around you the wind blows, its soft carress coming to brush you softly as you look on into the night sky
Kardan reaches out to the amulet, running his fingers across it
GM: And a feeling of comfort in these dark times falls apon you, the feeling of a love lost, but never forgoten. The feeling a child with no regrets. The feeling of hope, in the darkest hours.
Pierce Ellinon closes his eyes again and tips his head back against the tree.
D'Svyat finishes the mournful song, and makes the symbol of Ives over Abbigail's closed, empty eyes.
Zarina stops her practicing, laying her sword on the ground, hand resting on her wolfhead amulet, as she looks up to the sky.
GM: The earth awakens this night, as one of it's own is accepted into the folds of existance, and innocence although temporarily tainted, it seems, can never be fully destroyed.. The memories of triumph, and the passion of honor will always reside in the hearts of the young, and for those who have laid down thier lives so those less fortunate may have a chance to dream in that tomorow hour
Kardan slowly and gently removes the amulet from Abbigail's neck.
D'Svyat: Poor little thing... You reached your destiny.. but so soon! so soon...
GM: Fate has chosen the time of her daughters return, and the world it seems is ready to welcome her loving heart back, with the love of her family and friends
D'Svyat sobs quietly, looking at Abbigail..
Jade Shebari buries her face in Kardan's arm as she starts to sob.
GM: The earth opens up beneath her fragile form, and a halo of soft light becons forth..
Kardan looks at the amulet for a moment, then puts it on
Abbigail WolfStalker 's spirit slowly descends into the clearing, shining with a pale white brightness
D'Svyat: Farewell, Abbigail Wolfstalker. Rest well...
Abbigail WolfStalker smiles to each of you in turn, and you feel all the darkness of the past two days lifted from your own spirits
Kardan looks upwards at the light, then nearly falls over clutching the amulet
Abbigail WolfStalker steps up to Kardan and helps him stand steadily
Kardan looks into his daughters eyes.
Abbigail WolfStalker: Be brave father.... There are those who are depending on you.... and they need you to be as strong for them as you were for me...
D'Svyat looks at the light, watching in awe..
Jade Shebari looks in disbelief.
Kardan 's lip trembles as his eyes burst with tears. Yet... he is smiling.

Kardan looks follows her gaze, looking at the three
Zarina watches from the edge of the clearing, smiling softly.

GM: They smile but simply reply, that they both felt that way at one time.. But that higher duties call..

Abbigail WolfStalker looks at Kardan sadly
Kardan: Do me the honor of listening to your father this one last time
GM: And that you can help them better where you go to fly now.
Kardan: Go with them. You know it's what you must do now.

GM: They both hug her once, and wrap an arm through her elbows and begin to lead her away.
Abbigail WolfStalker looks down at everyone as the angels bear her away...
GM: The red headed one however, turns to regard Kardan before they fadeKardan looks up at the angels
GM: Beware son of the dawn.. The wings of darkness fly again.. We trust in you, you are our last hope. The crystal tides rest in the choices of your weary hands.
GM: She smiles at him then, and they are gone

Cerywyn Moonshadow steps forward slowly, almost reverently..
Kardan 's lips curl into an all too familiar smile
D'Svyat stands slowly, and takes out his sickle. The normal one, not the ebil one.
Cerywyn Moonshadow: *quietly* look.... *points to where Abbi had lain. As they look they see a patch of fresh wildflowers, in the shape of Abbi's body, growing where she had once lain...*
D'Svyat whispers softly over it, in his native tongue. You make out the word "Ives" a few times...
Jade Shebari smiles at Cerywyn
Kardan looks over at the fresh patch of flowers and smiles.
D'Svyat: Jade, Kardan..
Kardan: Her favorites..
Cerywyn Moonshadow: truly we are blessed tonight... *looks up at the sky in awe*
D'Svyat: Please, hold still a moment..
Pierce Ellinon sighs and sits down at the base of the tree, resting his head against it again.
Kardan nods
D'Svyat walks up to each, and cuts a single lock of hair from Kardan, and another from Jade.
D'Svyat turns away, clasping his hands together, the locks of hair between them..

Zarina takes a seat at the base of the tree where Lhandriel rests.
Jade Shebari clasps her hands in delight.
Kardan watches D curiously
D'Svyat whispers softly into said hands, and kisses the hair... it slowly forms together, the blue and red strands weaving together. He opens his hands, a little dolphin of blue and red in his hand. He shows it to each of them, the word "Abbigail" woven on the dolphin's back. He then places it in the very center of the growth, where Abbi lay.
D'Svyat makes the symbol of Ives over it once more.

GM: Calmness settles and you feel at peace for the first time.. In a long time..
GM: So as you all sleep, we begin to fade away.....
GM: Somewhere in the distance, yet not too far. The ground quakes yet again on the ancestral halls of Evrealan as the scene fades into a mountian of stone. The last tomb and final resting place, not of buildings, but of the lives and hearts of thousands stands silently in watch over it's childrens despair. A tomb of stone and rubble for an enternity standing vigil it would seem..
The the sound of falling rocks can be heard, as several small stones slide down. Shiftly, quaking, trembling from below. In a sudden blast of stones and a debri, a single stubby, yet well muscled hand breaks the surface and reaches with vengance towards the sky with an outstretched palm. In the flash of moonlight, and a single quake of thunder, a bringht glowing axe of pure silver and light appears, as The palm clapses shut in a furious fist, and reaches it defiantly to the heavens.
Justice and fury, shall ride the wind. And vengence is born...

I almost feel bad Pierce wasn't all choked up.
But, he didn't know Abbi that well.
That and I guess he can be an ass sometimes.
But FaeFae is damn talented storyteller.
She was a lot of fun to rp, cos she was a totally different perspective to most other characters...
..but I'm looking forward to seeing how Cerywyn fares with this group...
..and who knows... maybe Abbi will be back one day.

I think Fae is a creative genius. No matter what situation requiring creativity you put 'im in, he nails it down to nigh on perfection.

Main game will not resume until November because of time restraints, and because of the wedding.

Eventually thats the plan.
Thats what the whould Adventurer's Jounral section of the DM site in the Aleria section is supposed to be fore.. But I suck. Can't write well worth crap, so never sounds good, and have too little time right now at least to do much besides that...
Hopefully eventually I get something done.
