My condolences.

Hit by a school bus? Probably accidental, but whose fault, or do you not know? Still, that is horrible, dying before your life really got to get going. My condolences as well.

Mad Psycho had this to say about dark elf butts:
[QUOTE]The bus driver was going 40 or so down the street and Chris thought it was his bus so he ran out to catch it and the bus hit him. Some kid had to jump off the bus to get the bus driver to stop after he hit him. Can you imagine being in your house watching your child try to catch his school bus and being hit? Then running out there and watching him bleed from the mouth. I would have died.
Hellllooooo lawsuit and suspension for the driver of that bus. Even if he did run out in front of the bus a ways to catch it, the driver should have slowed down at the very least to find out who this kid was, not run him over like it was GTA3 This dude should get charged with vehicular manslaughter, no joke. That makes it even worse, because this may make it not accidental, but purposeful death.
er, you said that too.
i was responding to the "suspension" thing as if it were a mistake and the kid was scratched. sorry. [ 09-19-2002: Message edited by: hard technology rock ]

Oh, King Bling is smart.
*hugs tightly*
Hugs Amber.

quote:Myrtle (sp?) Springs or Ben Wheeler. I can't remember which one of my family members live in which. And yes the guy wouldn't stop so the kid jumped off.

So far it looks like I'm going to be in Dallas all Monday. Fun.
*hugs back everyone who hugged her*
hugs you
You and your family have my sympathies.
I understand how it feels to lose a family member, I'm sorry you have to know how it feels.
I'm really sorry to hear that. My grandma died when I was nine, but that can't even compare to this. It was sad, but she had lived her life and she was ready to go.
This...This is just...
I'd love to be a fly on the wall when that driver tries to explain how he didn't notice he just hit a kid, though, if he indeed didn't notice.

And.. So young, too. You're in my thoughts, and you have my condolences. *Hugs Amber*

I'm sorry for your loss and wish the best for the family and the worst for the driver with the worst case of short-term memory loss I have ever seen.
this is just wrong.
IMO, the best thing you can do is try to remember the good things about your cousin, and most importantly support your family especially your cousin's parents, brothers and sister (and take all the support you need as well).
And remember for the infinitely small smidgen of value it is worth, take a bit of solace in the fact that while your family is dealing with the sudden and tragic loss, the Driver (and his family) will be dealing with the guilt for the rest of his life... hopefully a good chunk of which is spent behind bars to ponder what he did.
