Ok, no cartoons. Favorite Villians. Dont have to bother explaining why, because if you HAVE to explain, then they arent very good movie villians. (In case you are wondering, my little anime freakos, yes, anime counts as a cartoon.)

Also, yes, this is a blatant ripoff of Bajah's thread. So what. Villians need love too.

Anyways, I'll post my list in a bit..

I liked the devil in "The Messenger." Sure, the movie was quite lame, but the devil was rather humorous.

The Cardinal from Ladyhawke. Brrrr!
Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.

Please don't mean the Dr. Claw from that god-awful Inspector Gadget movie.

While not of the caliber of evil 'I will eat your soul!' villans thus far listed, anything by Gary Oldman is pretty damn good on the bad guy side.

Especially the Russian Terrorist in Air Force One and Dracula(who probably qualifies as 'I will eat your soul!') in Brahm Stoker's Dracula.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Actually, its because Lance Henrickson SUCKS at acting. He's not as bad as some people *VIN DIESEL*... oh, forgot to cough.. oh well.

Really, tho.. He sucks. He always plays the same guy, with a different hat, or coat. Sometimes he's a little evil, sometimes he's not. Mostly he just plays "The grizzled biker lookin guy"

I mean, typecasting is one thing, Look at Danny Trejo (Also a VERY good Villian, Dusk til Dawn movies, Desperado) He always plays pretty much the same guy, but he's SUPPOSED to be playing the same guy.

Oh.. and for the racks comment...

Gabriel made a good villian... as did Carlo Bartolucci in Suicide Kings...

You can't go wrong with Satan (in either Devil's Advocate or Legend)....

David (Keifer Sutherland in Lost Boys) if you like Vampire villians.. also Jan Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith in John Carpenter's: Vampires) is a good vote for vamp villan....

That's all I can think of at the moemnt.... still trying to wake up.
