Or you'll get suspended.
EQ really has some mental retards working for their CS team.

Secondly, I've never fought anything for almost two hours straight... wait for it... I have heard of mobs in PoP having up to and maybe beyond ten million hit points. Let me just say that if any single boss encounter ever lasts this long again in any expansion, I can guarantee you people at Verant that everyone that aspires to reach this level of gaming in Everquest and everyone thats already at this level will leave. I would rather play Minesweeper while a rabid chimp gnaws at my testicles than go through another fight like the one we had yesterday.

I mock you for being in, quite possibly, the weakest guild on the server.
Funniest though
But holy crap. What a load of shit.

nOOOOO!!!!!1 See FoH used to totally suck, But like we kicked everyone out and reform, a lot of us now have chars with fungis and just make em to lvl9 to PK, We are good now...everyone is....except me.
There are mobs in place that disallow certain pulls. LoS had cleared these mobs to use the Dain tactic to get at mini. The CS guy did not get this.
It's worse that getting suspended for a Z-Axis exploit... it's getting suspended because the GM had no idea what the deal was.
(This is based on the info made available to me by LoS members)

What is the Dain tactic, anyways?
You are not leet enough to know.
Oh, and how many here have hunted in Unrest? YOU'RE ALL BANED FOR Z-AXIS SPLOITING IN THE TOWER/BAR!
Sorry, my moronic assfuck (read: Verant GM) mode kicked in.

I fucking hated that when I hunted there for XP. Same with Ghost aggroing from outside the tower on the back lawn.
If the mob wasn't meant to be pulled (in a Z-Axis, whatever that is..) ... Why not perma-root it in it's spot? Hello?
Verant?
Anyone home?
Should've said something, but I've said it enough

Perma-Rooted Mobs suck for everyone, not just monks
yeah but they suck most for monks.
quote:Why? Because the monk can't pull them? That doesn't affect the MONKS more than anyone else, since everyone has to rush the mob, not just the monks.
ACES! Another post by Maradön²:

No.. they suck for everyone equally. Perma-Rooted = Dealing with a high chance, if not gaurenteed, of adds. And after you kill said adds, they respawn quickly.
But yea, I'd rather just melee and not have to worry about adds. [ 08-28-2002: Message edited by: Pesco ]

Yeah, I just felt it would be humerous to disagree with you on the same issue twice.
But you didn't.
YOU LOSE!

Unless they changed the spawn rate of said adds to equal the boss mob itself.
Still, that could get a little tricky unless the adds were supposed to be part of the encounter.
Nothing says love like a mob that doesn't DT or Summon anyone for the first 15% of it's HP because it's too pissed at someone who's outta range.

They are, in the case of the Emporer in Ssra and a few other encounters that my fried brain is forgetting about.

I didn't feel like it.
I don't even really believe it is any worse for monks. That's why I said I didn't.
See?

Only if the minions were fast respawning or permarooted themselves. Hell, permaroot would make clearing Naggy/Vox easier if anything. Same for any mob that's permarooted and has slow respawn guardians that aren't permarooted themselves. Oh, and doesn't have a DT.

Sorry... this was funny when I came up with it.
i think i've got the idea but i'm not sure.

1: If a mob gets lost on it's pathing, and enough time passes, it will warp to you.
2: There are two types of "roofs". The first is simply a map block. For example, the solid stone wall between Bedroom and Bats in Lower Guk. It's a block of inpassable map space. The second is a "plate". Basically a thin blocker, not map space, that prevents you from falling, but sometimes does NOT prevent you from going up through. Example: Unrest Roofs, the roof of an inn, a door (though that's not a roof, it's the same kind of blocker, and you can get through it with some wriggling and tweaking).
Z axis sploiting is using different methods to get through the blockers, making the mob get lost, and warp to your location.
