My TDK 48x16x48x CD-RW drive showed up today. After finding it didn't come with screws of it's own to install with, I did the next best thing. Sooo, after removing my never used floppy disk drive and 1 screw from my DVD drive I put the CD-RW drive in. After fighting with it for 20 minutes, I figured it wouldn't let me slide it in from inside the case, so I dropped it in from the front(I took out the heatsink power supply and RAM before I figured that out, I R DUM). ANNYYYWAY

I just burned my first CD, Some Love Hina for a friend of mine. Once I go out to Fry's tomorrow and buy some more screws so all my drives have enough(Hmm... my HDD only has 2 screws? Heh...) I'm going to try and free up about 20 gig's of space.

What's this thing do?
That would be sooo cool if it wasn't going to hurt us.

No hardware needs more than 2 screws.

Myself, I use 0. Easier for hotswapping.

Glad you go it working. What software do you use? Having a hard time finding a good one.

I use Ahead Nero 5.5, came with the burner. I dunno if you can get it by download or whatnot, but it's pretty spiffy, burn only took some 3 minutes and a half or so and another 2 something to make sure it burned all good'n stuff.

[edit] Oh, and that was only at 40x, I didn't want to take the chance of fubaring my first burn because it was too fast[/edit]
