Bonecraft > fleshcraft.
I mean really.. how you gonna make a guys teeth grow up INTO his brainpan with only fleshcraft?
And Bajah.. if you're willing to run a thinking game.. I'm willing to think..

Not all that hard at all once you get used to it...
Pronounce it as if you were Czech.

I still play, don't really have this problem. The game is never usually the game I planned to to be so if I NPC, or as in the case of having my own player joining the party next week, I still get to play cause it's totally not planned. Besides my games are so not hack and slash, that it's always something new since its all RP based... And the fact MY PLAYERS DONT DO A DAMN THING I EXPECTED THEM TOO!! The games always end up as "By the seat of your pants" and improv.
We have about 12 people in our gaming group, and 4 DMs. I run 2 games (1 Mage, 1 D&D), Marcoe runs a D&D game, Jon runs a D&D game, and Chris runs a Rifts game.
We have about one weekend a month with no gaming, and play one of the games every other weekend. (Mage runs during the week though).
We tried the model where one DM runs every other week, and it just tires him out. You want to try out other classes, but you don't have the chance.
You'd think you'd get the characters confused, but its not really hard. We're all very much character players, so each character has a schtik thats pretty easy to fall back into.
Its fun, its not stressful, like gaming should be.
Edit - Clarification
Not all 12 people play in all the games! The largest game has 10 people, the rest of them are smaller. 12 people is just our total pool. [ 08-16-2002: Message edited by: Hireko FishSlayer ]

Deth doesn't consider running his NPCs "playing". Because he still has to think up the story. He only truly gets to play right now in our friend Ric's game, where he doesn't have to think up the story.
And his games are never hack and slash. They're all RP, and big, epic storylines. The only problem is, again, he has to write that storyline. So it takes the fun out of it for him.

It's better than hiding from ones own desires, living like cockroaches, feeding off what society, HUMAN society leaves behind, hiding in dark corners, and not RULING over the humans like the Vampires should.
For those of you that know me...was that a suprise?

I'll explain.
I wrote the story. I made the plot. I put in the hooks encounters, etc etc. However, they have YET to follow ANYTHING onset, and rather than make them follow a path, I let them go, and improv out my ass as we go along. So essentially my actions are spur of the moment choices a lot of the time too, and with the exception of cases of death. I rarely if ever fudge. I am fair in most every roll, good or bad. Heh, you could ask em. They have litterly screwed themselves numerous times.
I screwed Lashy so bad that she has essentially killed two of her teamates because of a roll of the dice. Of course, I didnt let her KILL them. Like I said, Im kinda leanient with death based on a roll of the dice, but everything else is pretty much as you get it.
Im just as involved with them as they are with the story most of the time, and act occordingly. They will eventually get to the adventure, but if they are having fun on thier tangent, I have no reason to rush them, and I let them have thier fun... Which often takes us places, we'd probably rather we didn't go...

But in the live game, it was freeform. Played in downtown historical Savannah, Georgia..
I played a lot of characters there, from Brujah punks, to the sheriff, who was a gargoyle (Free will givin by plot) and I had to wear full makeup and FUCKING WINGS.
After a long enough amount of time, I would get bored with the character, and kill myself off. Usually by some goofy means as starting a game of "Cauldron of Blood" Tag, Severed Head Soccer, and, of course, freeze tag, on the beach at dawn..
But, at least i played characters I could really play. I have never, and will never, play Malk. I dont have the insanity, and cannot play it. I've seen way too many people try to play crazy, and they looked like they were playing crazy. Only ONE, in my entire time playing the game, ever struck me as fitting for the clan. And I thought he was a fucking Ventrue. (Well, he was a Ventrue Clan Elder.. go figure)
