Why in hell are they wasting money making a new game, when they should be spending it on fixing and adding on to their current one?

Back in the day FBRs cost over 1000 platinum. that FBSS? 30k easy. Ykesha? 25k per.
The economy is FAR easier for newbies now.
Back when the game started, you NEVER saw a level 20 in bronze armor, or MAYBE he had a piece or two. But to see a full suit? WOW!

And just what in the hell is wrong with changing around the current EQ? I'm pretty sure they gave it a different graphics engine once before, I don't see why they can't do it again. All the options, items, et cetera can be added on, no biggie.

It has? Gosh, when I played (And I only quit recently) the economy was fine. Either it's gone to hell in just 3 months, or this is a complete lie.
Besides, if EQ's economy really IS "corrupt", as you say, then just what makes you think EQ2's economy won't be just as corrupt within a matter of weeks? Lots of the same players are going to go to EQ2, and guess what happens then.
Unless they give Dwarves blunderbuss longrifles, I see nothing impressive about EQ2.

They're making EQ2 for the same reason they make a sequel to any game. BECAUSE THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH YOU CAN ADD TO A SHITTY OLD GAME.
