We are pleased to announce that Screen Scrape is here.
What is Screen Scrape?
Screen Scrape is an exciting new tool available to the management team here at <snip>. This new feature captures the screens you use on your calls, and "records" them the same way a call is recorded.
Why do we need Screen Scrape?
Screen Scrape will help the supervisors and agent improve the call documentation and find new way to simplify call flow. This is an excellent tool for training purposes, as it allows your Supervisor to combine the actual discussion and screens for coaching purposes."
The best part is, the added load of this thing, along with the "remote desktop management and anti virus" they added, is apparently so minimal they didn't need to upgrade our Pentium 100 and 200 systems!
Your sarcasm detector should have blown up just then.

MY HAND! MY HAND! MY HAND!!!!!!!!!!
My hand... fingers gone...
I don't think... I should use... a handheld... sarcasm detector... anymore.

Let's see... the remote software alone bogs down a P2 500 system... antivirus should be okay, so long as it only runs at night... screen capture software will conflict with remote software... then there's the whole security issue. But since they plan to use it to catch their employees playing video games... excuse me, but may I borrow that jackhammer for a moment?
