A little less than 12,000 before taxes.

Pity me.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

I make enough to live on. Not ready to move into an appartment yet (still living with parents), but I pick up my new car on Monday. Then I'll have student loans and a car loan.

$3K per year in auto insurance won't help either.

Around $18,000 a year, but that was last year's tax form and I've gotten a raise since then. And I'm getting another one probably by this next week's check. My review is up (actually, has been since April 23) and my boss told me to expect an increase in pay

Oh well, making more now than I would have even if I'd gotten the raise

about 14000-16000 after taxes

Consdiring I live in NJ, I couldn't even move into a shack in the woods on that. I pay about 3000 a year in Car Insurance, then schools takes another 4000-6000 a year

I make $10.50 an hour now. A $.50 increase would be nice, putting me up at $11. Then I would only make $.10 less than my mother makes.

I'm on my parent's insurance, because my name is first on my car's title, and my mom is second. So long as I keep her or my dad's name on the title with me, I can be on their insurance. So that helps a lot.

$53,000/yr.

Which, for an email admin for the world's largest bank, most people think is kind of ...small. (Even considering the amount of Hell we've taken in the press lately, what with accusations of collusion with Enron.)
