I will be following pattern and doing the obligatory shout outs (and I have plenty of them), but first I'll play the Ghost of EverCrest Past, and recount one of my fonder memories of n00bdom here at EC.The chatroom over at irc.evercrest.com was pretty quiet. Me, Drysart, Amethyst, and a few others were there, just chilling for the most part, when Drysart and Ame started launching into a sort of impromptu roleplay session. It started just as a conversation between the two of them, and the others in the room joined in sporadically, and we had a good time. Taran came and harassed us (what else is he good for, right?), Mydriasis was there, screwing around with us, I think Solstyce may have been there, Geeorn maybe, when we finally stopped there were a whole bunch of us, roleplaying our little blue butts off.
That was, at least to me, immensely cool. Sometimes I kinda wish we still did stuff like that in the chatroom. I mean, it used to be to the point where we could be RPing at almost all times over in the chatroom. I could join up, and Drysart could kick the crap out of me (this happened a lot), or Arttemis Jr (I'm still unclear as to how this happened, except I know that it had something to do with Drysart kicking the crap out of me) would come by and we'd have fun with him for a while, or we'd have PornCrest night (heh heh). I miss that.
Anyway, without further reminiscence, the shout outs! (Because I know you love having your ego stroked.)
Fae: What is there to say? I mean, you've been my friend since I was still the ub3rn00b, waddling around in cyber-diapers, so to speak. You're a great guy, an excellant DM, and a good friend.
Lyinar: Even though you and I have our arguments and disagreements sometimes (okay, a lot of the times ), you're still a good friend of mine (even though you outleveled me on EQ, dammit.) You're not afraid to speak your mind, and I admire that.
D: It's a good thing you're around, because otherwise I'd sound entirely crazy, talking about calibers, magazines, and high explosives all the time. At least we look crazy together, eh? Seriously, though, you're a cool guy, if maybe a bit on the bitter side at times.
Addy: You're a bit nosy sometimes, you know that? I know you do it out of the goodness of your heart, though, so I suppose I can forgive your occasional prying. Don't treat the swedish mailmen too bad, eh?
Deth: You're a great guy to hang out with. I remember chasing around your Shaman and joking around with you all the time, be it going to Steamfont to make high explosives, or out to East K (I can't remember why we went there 
). You're a very understanding guy, and I'm glad I've been able to get to know you a bit.
Nem: Rofal roofles? You're a cool guy, but if you make another bong joke, I breaka-you-necka! Pasta fasool.
Pesco: Boooooooooooooooooooy howdy! Y'all shore can cook up a mighty fine gopha. 
Seriously, though, I had a lot of fun with you, be it playing DAoC or goofing around in the chatroom.
Although I'm still going to kill you for making the Arttemis Jr account.
Rosaline: Unf unf? Heh. Seriously, how you manage to put up with me sometimes. You're an intelligent person, and nice to boot, even though you can't properly describe your power cable... yeah... that's it... 
Azakias: No matter what I put here, you're going to castrate me again, I know it. Seriously, though, you're actually a pretty nice person, when you're not stuffing people into jars, or turning me into a eunuch.
Parcelan: Whistlepig! You're a cool little dude, and, even though I've never found you overly humorous, as a wise man once said, "You can only please some of the people all of the time. For the rest, there's MasterCard."
Geeorn: How could I forget my buddy, the one eyed cleric? (Not a euphemism, I promise) You've always been around to swap jokes with as long as I've been around. You're a cool guy, my cyclopian compatriot.
Mortious: It just wouldn't be right if I forgot buckethead, either. I mean, after all, I got my first taste of fame (in the form of a still-immortal comic) because of Morty! Which has nothing to do with how incredibly awesome in and of himself Morty is, even though he's eeevil and whatnot.
Mystiana: We miss you! Come back!
Bloodsage: You're the only person around here who makes me consult my dictionary regularly (even though you're not actually around here right now). Good luck in Germany, and keep on giving us your wonderful sesquipedalian nuggets of joy.
Drysart: It also wouldn't be a proper shout out list if I didn't include the obligatory ass kissing, too. Thanks for keeping this site going, yo. Thanks for not banning me, too.
Everyone Else: You suck and I hate you. Just kidding. I either forgot about you or you haven't done anything memorable. Oops.
