Made a big mistake in judgement, but luckily my players picked up the slack, as they are great at doing. Wonderful job as usuall.
Best Damn RPing awards tonight though. Just a couple I want to recognize for efforst concidering all the crap I threw at them tonight. Kardan, Kraknek, Abbigail, and D'Syvat actually got off easy on shit duty for a change, althought they were exempilary <sp?> as usual.
Standouts tonight.
Jade/Synny! You did a friggin kick ass job with all the crap I threw at you, just like I knew you would. Thanks sweetie, you were great. 
Ranyth/Elethi: The perfect stoic as always, you really shined tonight, even with your little town foray you were friggin awesome. Man, you owned. I think even Rosa agreed on that one.
Nevia/Rosa: Like Jade I threw a lot of crap at you tonight, and made you do a lot of not so nice things, and once again you pulled it off perfectly. Although Jade is going to friggin kill you now, cause shes like flipping the fuck out and stuff.
Pierce/INT: You're off to an excelent start, and PERFECTLY believeable, even from the shit they have been through.
None of this is worded very well, because I'm piss ass tired, but I never forget these things. In appreciation ofcourse for my players, and how fun they make all this for myself, and the game in general.

That would have been the original plan, but GRIP only supports 8 people.

Anyway, it's up to a moderator to say or not, but since it is a D&D game, the D&D boards might be a better place for things.
And, even before I played the game, I read the logs and posts about what was going on, because I was interested in the game and the world Fae had created.

If people really have a problem with this it can stop, but I won't do it voluntarily unless I'm told too. Because this is an appreciation thread for my friends, and all the effort they put in to anything and the things they do.
Just to clear things up, and some reasoning. Very few of my players, in fact maybe only one or two, frequent the DnD boards at all. So this area is the most common place to catch everyone so they get to see how much I appreciate them, or remind them of games, and various other information. Also these threads are not every saturday, we don't even play every Saturday. There is one thread, every other Saturday. Unless one of the players makes one of thier own, but those typically aren't just game related.
Also, although these threads are about our game, and mostly for appreciation for our players. Typically, these threads are used for posting funnies about the game, or ideas, or personal input which is just as much for anyone as it is for our players. It is also threads like these that get other board members involved in the game in one way or another. For instance, it was a thread like this that got INT his guest spot, and where Parcelan made his NPC which is part of the game now. It may be centralized, but if you notice, a lot of board memebers actually post in them or ask about the, or make thier own funnies in them.
And actually quite a few people have read the logs and said they found this or that funny. Most of the funnies that are placed in these threads from the logs aren't game specific. Like the fact that Abbigail, and Nevia always critical and Art makes some funny comments about penis size. People find them funny. Now maybe everyone doesn't, but a good number do.
I dont spam the boards with them, they are bi-weekly, they are a known topic. I really don't see the issue.

These days, people ask on occasion if they can post there about their campaigns, and I always tell them the same thing. "Sure thing. I'll be glad for the company." But I don't try to force topics over there anymore. The D&D board gets a lot less visitation, which means that topics stay on page 1 for a very long time, but less people read them, and there is rarely an extended discussion of anything.As a service to certain DM's/GM's, I've been maintaining a bumped topic, with links to D&D threads over here on the main EC board. I was doing that for Faelynn at one point, but with the repetative theme of "We had a great session last night!" it didn't seem necessary to continue piling them into the list.
