anyone know any _new_ good space flight/combat sims?

i'm still going back to freespace and freespace II when i feel like flying around in space taking out the enemy.....i can't find anything new and decent enough to bother with.

any suggestions?

i don't know UBB code. help me. i'm lost.

Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos is relatively new and very cool.

It's a non-linear space flight sim, meaning you can fly pretty much anywhere you want in the entire galaxy at any time.

See that star or nebula way out in the background? Engage your FTL drive and find out what's in or around it!
