I wanna know whats up. my ICQ starts up but doesnt do anything. the contact list window pops up and it seems to lock there. i can close it and start again, does the same thing. :/ Tried it with multiple versions, same thing. No matter WHAT i do. Anyone know whats up with it? Anyone else seen this before?

Heh. The whole problem is getting used to it.
Anyway... I'd say that sounds like corrupted pref files... Or registry entries. I'm no ICQ guru, mind you, but did it do that on the first time or just started doing it?

Get a 3rd party program that will allow you to use icq.

When you get to ICQ settings, it asks you if you have a contact list, and you can select it from your ICQ folder....just don't delete icq

it wont accept 2001b or on. only 2001a and previous lists.
Its strange. its ONLY the icq program, but whether or not I do a complete uninstall or not, it still wont work for some reason. I can use the web based ICQ fine, mind you.

Question -- Will Trillian auto-update my ICQ list? I know with 2001b and on, it would auto upload thel ist to the server so I could use it elsewhere.

When I log on my barbarian and try to view the game list, I can only see 4-5 games, but with any other character it's like normal (20+ or something, whatever it is). WTF?
