I just noticed it tonight, they're showing Part II of the GI JOE Movie.

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

I didn't know they were showing them yet. Last I heard the old cartoons were going into the "normal" scheduel in October, with a new series coming out sometime in 2003.
You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Well, speaking as someone who often stays up way too late with a TV on, this is something new; I think it may only be for the movie, not the series. this tuesday was the first time I've ever seen G.I. Joe in the late-timeblock, and that was for part 1 of the movie.

I will say, though, it was very strange hearing the G.I. Joe theme song. I haven't heard that thing in over a decade.

Fighting Cobra and Destro where ever there's trouble.. GI Joe is theeeeeere. GI Joooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Hell, it was the coolest damn thing I heard and saw in a long time.

The best bit was the part leading up to the classic GI JOE theme refrain, with the Cobra Commander chiming in.

You haen't missed much, they started showing it July 1, but didn't show anything July 2 because of the Iron Giant Marathon.
