I did disappear. Didn't you see me?
Sitting in a hotel room with nothing much to do is boring.
On the plus side, I had time to read OXM, and find out that the DOA follow-up will feature topless volleyball! w0ot!

BTW, MIB2 is pretty good, too. Not as serious as the original, but good.
And I saw the trailer for The Two Towers, too. Looks like another near-miss. How can they claim to be faithful to Tolkein if they think the two towers are Barad Dur and Orthanc, of all bloody places?
Orthanc, indeed. /sigh
Looks pretty, though.

I want to see Scooby Doo for the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets trailer that is exclusive with it.
Plus, I'm a big Scooby Doo fan. Always have been.

IF you're a Scooby fan, you'll like the movie. It's quite well done, though cheesey in that Scooby kinda way.
The Harry Potter trailer was good, though I thought it might've given too much away. I hope it comes out in Europe about the same time as in the states.

Well, fie. There was no Harry Potter trailer when I went to see Scooby Doo. *grumble* Ah well. The movie was fun, so that's okay. And MIB2 was almost as good as the first one.
I never really read the second or third books because the first bored me so much. I just breezed through them.(I'm not really big on fantasy, heh.)
Minority Report: A fine sci-fi flick with Tom Cruise. Kind of like Mission Impossible (1 NOT 2!) Mystery kept me guessing til the end.
MIB2: A sequal made just to fill the demand for a sequal. The same cast goes through basically the same problem as the first movie, but with a love side-plot tacked on. Some jokes managed to hit home, but most were predictable; especially if you've seen the previews.
Scooby-Doo: See Sage's review.
Those are my movie reviews, I promised 4, but due to the nature of the last movie, and my lack of a backspace key; my review of the Powerpuff Girls movie will remain unknown...CRAP!
*Goes off to buy a keyboard with a backspace key*
And it had the Harry Potter teaser trailer on it, giving it even more brownie points with Lyinar.

Lady Snoota had this to say about Robocop:
What was the second tower supposed to be, anyway?I never really read the second or third books because the first bored me so much. I just breezed through them.(I'm not really big on fantasy, heh.)
The two towers of the book were Barad Dur and Minas Tirith, the former home of Sauron, the latter last bastion of the West and Aragorn's true home.
Minas Tirith was originally sister to Minas Ithil, though it fell and was renamed Minas Morgul.
The whole Saruman/Orthanc thing was a sub-plot.
Just goes to show how little the people making the movie understand what they're doing.
