Where was this, now? I'm kinda confused. [ 06-24-2002: Message edited by: Mr. Wilams ]

Mr. Wilams had this to say about the Spice Girls:
Holy shit, their timing couldn't have been better. I've been having this really weird urge to play lately.Where was this, now? I'm kinda confused.
I got an email from them. I've got two accounts already. I had three, but I cancelled one of them.
At the bottom of the email it says:

IGN sent this email to you at because you asked to receive exclusive offers and information from IGN PC partners.
If you do not wish to receive email related to our PC partners from IGN, please click here to update your settings on your IGN mypage
So mebbe you didn't go for the junk mail like I did!
Well I have EQ downloaded now anyway. Not sure if I need an account yet...I know my friend had one that he doesn't use and I may be able to use that. But I didn't have the CD.
Where can you get EQW?

Terena Azal wrote, obviously thinking too hard:
I win.
Chix always win
...but it said it couldn't find EQGame.exe!!!
It just...closes.
ALSO, make sure you've downloaded all the patches for EQ first... EQw bybasses the patch screen and if the files don't match, it won't work.
I'll try 16-bit now...
Well that didn't help. [ 06-24-2002: Message edited by: Mr. Wilams ]

Bajah had this to say about Matthew Broderick:
EQw bybasses the patch screen and if the files don't match, it won't work.
Change EQW shortcut.
c:\EQW\EQW.exe "c:\program files\everquest\everquest.exe"
Then it runs patcher first then EQW 2nd.
EDIT : The directory structure above is just how I do it, it'll be different for everyone. [ 06-24-2002: Message edited by: Khyron ]
I finally fixed the "close on exit" thing and now it's giving me this? I have more memory than that....

- fixed current input woes
They fixed it the same day Verant broke it.
I KNOW there's enough conventional memory. To be a daredevil, I even set the minimum memory the program could use to 260.
And it STILL said that there wasn't enough.
I'm so confused.
No, there is no helpful information in this post. Move along.

From the book of Bajah, chapter 3, verse 16:
just suck it up and play fullscreen!
Full screen suxx0rs.
Then again, I'm playing in a rez bigger than my desktop and EQw sucks on performance...

I dunno... I don't have any issues playing Full Screen....Then again, I'm playing in a rez bigger than my desktop and EQw sucks on performance...
Yeah. I stretched wires all over my room and created a trip hazard through my door just to run a second cat5 cable to my p2 400... For Trillian and board browsing... and using Kegwen for PLing.
Full screen for me. The window is just a performance drag.

Well, I've still gotten no messages from people telling me they would like to make use of it, so I shall just trash the email.
