That's exactly why I waited for the X-Box version. I remembered Daggerfall.

/shudder

At least if the X-Box version crashes all the time, it's patently defective and I can return it.

There's supposedly a bug in the X-box version that makes the game incompletable. If you wait too long to talk to a certain NPC nesscessary to the main quest, he'll vanish after the conversation.

Because I don't want to be evil and start another Morrowind thread, how do I cure one of the stat debuffthingies?

I was exploring, and got jumped by a Kawana warrior, who left a nice little stat debuff on my personality. I tried digesting some Heather and Green Lichen (looked at them and they have stat buffs of recovering and fortifying personality) but nothing happened.

Wasn't it also prone to some kind of green screen of death? Which doesn't exist. I mean they delayed it for bug testing after all.

I went through that bug post. From what I gathered it seems that:

1) Very few people have experienced it.
2) No reviews speak of such a thing.
3) It may just be something that affects a small amount of discs.

Also it seems that the PC version suffered from it more. I'm guessing Bethesda was aware of it and that if this is indeed authentic it affects a small amount of the current discs.

Except after everyones fingers heal from blisters after beating HALO, they will go buy a GC and play SSBM and Resisdent Evil. After they regain painless digit use, of course.

Like I said, a lot of people in EQ had "bugs" that never affected me. Hell, in over 2 years of play, I got stuck in terrain exactly once, and went linkdead only 3 times.

Oh yeah, that one kiddy game that's boring as crap unless you have four other people to play with, and that one remake of a game that more or less sucked to begin with.

aye
EQ actually impresses me with the lack of bugs (not saying there is none just VERY few). Its never crashed for me. NOT ONCE unless a program minimises it :P Never got stuck anywhere either.

Item/Skill Balance issues yeah but your ALWAYS gonna have them, which FYI arent bugs.

One of the coolest parts was that you have this character in this bad ass suit kicking much much ass and then at the end, you see the character is a female. Back then, that was SO against the stereotype. I loved it! I like how the armor is so ambiguous.

In the previously posted picture, you can tell Samus is female, even if she had her helmet on. Bleh, kinda an insult to the old game, if you ask me.

Yeah, in the new shiny picture you would be able to tell even with the helmet on...noticed that too and forgot to comment. Arms are too thin, waist thin too...ruins it so much.

Old Samus > New Samus picture. Sometimes old is just so much better.
