And I think it's damned cool, in all honesty. Especially when you see all the other wide and varied stuff on the list. Generally you see people who liked Apoc Now being war movie buffs (usually see Full Metal Jacket and Platoon and occasionally Patton on the same lists, I've noticed).
I liked Apocalypse Now because of the fact it was such a surreal adaptation of Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness".
