Lot of EQ topics lately, aren't there? Surprising for a board based on an EQ comic

Anyway, Lyinar is now level 34, and I have some new places at my fingertips, either for hunting xp or hunting up some plat.

What are some good druid wisdom items I should be on the lookout for around this level? I have a polished bone bracelet now, a chipped bone bracelet, a BI medallion, Gold jasper earrings, and gold jasper rings, plus an Othmir Fur Cap. I'd like to replace the PBB with another CBB, but other than that I won't touch what I have jewelry wise till Melisande can make platinum jewelry with ease.

I'm mostly looking into armor. I have soft wicker now, not cause that's what I'm stuck with, but cause I wanted it and it looked nifty. Have a brown chitin protector and Tizmak sleeves and Mammoth Hide Leggings in the bank, but they don't give a wisdom stat (Least I don't remember one. I'm at work, so I don't have them right in front of me)

So, any good pieces out there that have a wisdom stat that I can either hunt around for at level 34, save up plat for, or quest for?

Skaw, what was that belt you gave me? I don't remember if it had a wis stat or not, but I put it on Lyinar cause it was better than the Reinforced one she was wearing.

I just realized that should be Gold *Ruby* rings, because I had Melisande make them as Deth's wedding gift to Lyinar.

Besides, gold and jasper I already said made earrings. Hehehehe. Jasper on the brain.

Of course, you'd have to massacre all the other Druids, Shamen, and Clerics who are camping poor old Dylin to get the darn thing.

Believe it or not, Dyllin was actually just standing there uncamped when I went to kill him.

Too bad I was unaware about his smuggler buddy. You know, the one that's in his 40s somewhere.

At least I had the sense enough to bind nearby.

Actually there aren't that many people even in Highhold by the time I get online, and most that are are there in the orc group.

Kind of irritated me last night, though. Went to camp Dyllin while we had our D&D game. And there was a 1st level halfling druid there camping him, assisted and grouped with a 45th level druid.

Now, it's fine and dandy to help a lower level friend out with something they need a little assistance getting. And it's a great wisdom item. But losing my chance to camp him to some level *1* really pissed me off. He should be off doing newbie quests. He should be off gaining levels. He shouldn't even be *worrying* about the ToV yet.

I was nice about it. The 45th level druid switched to an alt at one point, and since Lyinar was just hanging out around and I noticed she'd gone, I sent him a tell asking if he needed me to come watch out for him in case Dyllin spawned, thinking his friend had LD'd. He said she was just on an alt, and I said send me a tell if he needed help, in case she couldn't get there fast enough, etc.

It was just very very annoying. The one night I finally have some time to have Lyinar just sit and wait and see if he might spawn, when I'm not organizing a guild get together group, and there's a damned level *1* there camping him.

We should sit down with Ram and Lyinar. There's no reason why Ram (at level 12) should have superior equipment to Lyinar (level 33). Ram's got a long time before he gets to 33, whereas Lyinar needs wisdom stuff now. I don't mind giving you anything Ram has that you need.

I want to come camp him too. I owe his smuggler buddy an unpleasent death or two from when I helped a friend camp him.

I didn't thik he had superior equipment.

Unless he has some armor pieces that have wis on them or such.

His shirt has Wis. He's got that Small Wisdom Deity thingy in his ranged slot.

Well Im not sure if this will help any, but this is what I have on me right now. About maybe half of it hasnt changed much since I was lower level.

Well, Ruined Mithril Bracers come from SolB, and are pretty good, 5 wis, some str and ac, common drop off somehting the King camp tends to pull. Forrest loops arnt bad, 3 wis/agi/dex (ear slot), drop very rarly off any moutain giant. Foreman's tunic is 3 wis and some other stuff, 0.0 weight drops in SolA. Shroud of nature has 6 wis and some stuff (pretty good resists as I recall) drops in Nurga. Mammoth legs have 4 wis as I recall. Kromodif Militairy legs you could quest with some help, involces a few bigger kills, but not too bad. Uthork arms are pretty good, although they have - str. Chrystaline Slippers drop off something in Chrystal Caverns, and have wis for the foot slop. 6 wis rings are good, but the gold/silver ones are decient too if you cant afford the plat/velium. If you want to go for a plate look (imho better than soft wicker) get yourself a pair of black chittin legs, have some manna but no wis. I cant think of any other slots, but if you have questions about one, ask away.
