I think it is Carfel... from Legends of Kesmai... MP Online sorta RPG/Adventure (an RPG in the same way that EQ is an RPG). It was really long lasting...

Carfel was like.. the Ninja/Thief Leader of the Yasnaki in Underkingdom... Only Thieves could enter his lair (Unless you sploited by killing someone, dragging them inside, and rezzing them with a Staff of Resurrection.)

Fun boss... Dropped Returning Daggers (Daggers you could throw and they'd return to your hand)....

I miss Kesmai. It was cancelled in May of 2001, I think... Electronic Arts bought Gamestorm and Kesmai Corp. and pulled the plug on Legends of Kesmai and a few other great games...
