Announced this week, Star Wars: Galaxies is headed to Xbox next year with full online capabilities. Galaxies is a massive online world (or rather world) based in the Star Wars universe centered around episodes 4-6. Players will be able to choose from variety of creatures, including wookies and ewoks. Not only that, but players will have the choice to join the Rebel Alliance, Empire, or kick back and be a moisture farmer. Let the waiting begin.
Available to PC and Xbox means more $ for them.

$$$$ talks.Available to PC and Xbox means more $ for them.
And it's easier to port from PC (win2k/xp) to XBox than it is to PS/2. Plus the XBox already has the HD built in to handle patches and shit, where it's going to be an addon for the PS/2.
That's a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing because you're getting a lot of hardware for not a lot of money. It's a bad thing because Microsoft is taking serious losses on all the consoles they sell

X-Box is actually a great buy. That's a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing because you're getting a lot of hardware for not a lot of money. It's a bad thing because Microsoft is taking serious losses on all the consoles they sell
And they're assfucking you on the games. The PC/XBox games are mostly the same code... it's just a minor effort to tweak the game out and make the disks. That's why they don't care about the loss on the consoles. The games are obcenely profitable.
Sony: No master
Except replace "Munch's Oddysee" with "Star Wars: Galaxies".

I agree Mort. And will the AV carry over to SW:G? (Stupid question alert...)
We play any and all Star Wars online games.
Even though our Force Commander and Galactic Battlegrounds sections lasted a week each. Simply put; no one was interested.

Well, Force Commander basically sucked
What about Rebellion? Although, I've only heard of it, anyone played it?
