What I would like to see is... removal of all styles entirely. Instead of having light/heavy/medium, have only medium.
Make saber throw a force ability instead of alt-attack.
Make Normal saber attacks horizontal. Add a 'vertical' attack as the new alt-attack.
New moves can be done by combinations of horizontal, vertical, etc.
IE : Horizontal + Vertical = forward stab.
Horizontal + back = rear slash.
Vertical + back = rear stab.
Left/right + vertical = diagonal stab.
Left/Right + Horizontal = shorter, faster slash in that direction.
Crouching + vertical = Upward slash.
Crouching + Horizontal = slash to the ankles.
(Hafta be crouched to block those, but easy to jump the 2nd or strafe-dodge the 1st)
Combos are done easier as well. IE : Do a diagonal slash, and as your slash is mid-to-half way done, press back and horizontal, to turn it into a diagonal slash, followed by a back slash, followed by a stab forwards.
A sort of system could 'chain' commands in any way you wish, making many, many more possible combo attacks.
That sort of thing. I think it would make the saber controls much easier to use, and remove balancing issues between styles.

Hell, I have only been killed by backstab once. I don't really see a problem.

To me, the controls feel like crap. JK 1 had managable controls. These ones are shit. I've tried and tried and tried to learn them, and it still feels like luck when I manage to pull some cool move off, rather than skill.

What I hate is the feeling that I'm fighting with a flashlight instead of a lightsaber. How do you tell if you actually did damage? Other people seem to have no trouble killing me in one shot, even at 100/200...

Then, I shall be hosting a EC JK2 server 24/7.
