Whenever I start a game, I never finish it. I have 5 games on my HD right now. BG2, HL, JK2, DS, and Civ3 and I have yet to finish ANY of them. I'll start a game, but I have never finished most of my games, no matter how good they are.

Finishing Civ3 is like triyng to finish Heroes of Might and Magic Complete

One will lose their mind long before accomplishing it

I rarely finish games.

I play purely for relaxation and fun--many games these days make finishing them too much work, as if some mystical sense of accomplishment should ensue. Few games are varied enough not to become a chore after a while.

When that happens, I look for something else to play.

Usually, on most computer games, I rarely play Single Player, and go straight to Multi-Player. I have a problem with never finishing games. Heck, I've never bothered to get past level 15 on EverQuest. I usually get bored with the race and class by then and usually switch to a new one. I've never found a good class/race that fits me.

If I am really devoted to beating a game, I usually do, though.

I tend to play games that focus on plot, rather than simply action, so beating the game is an inevitability and not a chore. You don't hear the whole story unless you beat the game.

Purely action-oriented games, though, do get to be more of a chore to beat than entertainment.

I don't have that much games in the first place, so I end up finishing them, and REPEATEDLY.

Stop whining :P

I used to warez games before I repented.

The last game I warezed... got me banned for talking about it. It shalt be my last.

But still, I never completed said game's single player. I skipped it alltogether and started swining a lightsaber at random people.

I have played every game I own all the way through.

But the only games I really don't get pizowned at are THPS3 or SPPS (or something that uses the THPS3 engine)

The best games are decent action games with killer plot.

Deus Ex, Max Payne, JKI (For the liveaction cinimatics. Mmm.. Jan Ors..), JKII, among others.

Those are the games that I finish first.

JK1 looks like Doom compared to JK2.

In-engine scenes > Live-Action

Yes, it does look horrid. Took a lot of getting used to to go back to JKII after playing through both of JKI's storylines.

If I ever get bored before finishing I turn on Godmode and run through it to see the rest of the story, if it's any way interesting.

Only two First Person Shooter games have caused me to want to finish them, ever. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Jedi Knight II.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

It looks excellent with all the textures and stuff on Very High.

Finish BG2, that's all I can say...
