Remember the "Knuckles expansion" thingy that was a game in itself, but also piggie-backed like a Game Genie and was supposed to add Knuckles to all your old Sonic games, but it only really worked with one or two other games?

Oh yeah.
Working at Sonic sounds a lot like my days working at the burger joint in Kennywood. The only difference is the rampant theft. We'd come in in the mornings and fix ourselves a hamburger for breakfast before opening. We'd snatch french fries left and right. When anyone we liked ordered from the stand, we'd hook them up with extra fries, two beef patties, extra cheese whatever. Particularly if they worked there and were eating on thier break and had to wait in line.
The management didn't see it, but they knew, and they didn't care. I think they felt a little guilty about paying us less than minimum wage* and working us 60+ hours a week, so they just let it slide.
*factoid: in PA amusement parks are seasonal, and seasonal jobs aren't bound to pay minimum wage

Is Sonic's like the Steak and Shake in the southern states? The only thing we have up here in the Northeast is Burger King or McDonalds, or Wendy's (my favorite!). These chains crush most other burger joints up here.

Some jobs aren't bad. Some are absolutely horrible. The problem is you have no control over what job you get.

I dont have the guts to work fast food after 8 months at blockbuster. *shudder*
They need to pass a law that everyone has to work 6 months in some sort of position where they serve a customer directly.
