I am still wide awake and have not laid my head down once to sleep today, even though I stayed up until 4am EST last night.

easy enough. Body has an abundance of energy stored. Do something strenuous.. you'll likely pass out asleep when you're done.

I have...the SAME problem. Yet I can wake up at 6' the next morning as if I'd had a full night of restful sleep. I am puzzled why this is so. In this time of restlessness, I have:Finished outlining my American History book, Finished "legacy of the drow" by R.A. Salvatore (uber author, very good, read him or I kill your family in their sleep), almost done with Robert Heinlens 'starship troopers' the book, and started the groundwork of my friends next adventure.
Productive to say the least, yet...Sleep>all.
