Although with the loss of one of major fighters, fights took longer than expected. If she is absent again, I will adjust as nessesary to make sure that doesn't happen again. And I love how you all handled situations, Ranyth and Nevia specifically. Even though Nevia didn't really get a chance to make it into actuall play. At least she was luckier than Ranyth, you actually GOT to her at least.
General Recap.
You haven't had much time to rest, and nothing is going right it seems. The Caravan has been destroyed and both your charges are now missing. What may come of that, is still up to you to decide. But should something bad happen to them, you are now aware of the concequences, and it isn't pretty.
Jade knows more than she's letting on, and it seems her past has come back to haunt her. She may be facing a moment she has feared for most of her life, and the possibility of that may be more than she can bear. Probably even worse.
Discoveries of a past long forgoten have finnaly been reborn, and responcibilities are being placed on an unsuspecting age. Something lost has been found, and something dangerous is still lurking. Where and what, you have yet to find out.
At least one of the Gods have taken an interest in your plight, for the worse, and the concequences of that are far from inviting. He wants something, something you have, and he intends to get it at all costs.
D'Syvat, having lost himself temporarily, is now faced with something he may or may not fully understand, and his life is about to become even more difficult than even HE thought possible. Kardan, has learned to become suspicious, and his own quest and goals may have started to come in to question. Questions to which he most likely has no answers, or answers he doesn't want to face.
Kraknek has come to an understanding in part, of just who (And what) he is. How he handles this new developement, could quite possibly hamper any amount of sanity he may have possesed, and dealing with this new development may prove harder than it appears. This is on top of the new responcibilities he has discovered, and now has to deal with. His role, and his honor, have now become more complicated than his previous life could have ever prepared him for.
Balkor has dicovered the life he knew, has little bearing on the life he is now being forced to lead. All he has known, it appears, has been in preparation. Preparation for a duty he may, or maynot, be ready to accept. Time will tell.
Ranyth has discovered the little disturbance he has felt, is indeed a lot deeper, and more involved than he could have at first imagined. He has probably started questioning the choice of involvement, as the path ahead of him is showing to be decidedly more harsh than even his desert hardened life could have prepared him for. And much more deadly.
Nevia sits at the center in this decidedly harsh torent of confusion. Something lost, yet found, something not completely understood by some who now know parts of a previous pact they weren't aware of, and she most assuredly isn't aware of. Also the center of a more sinister plot, and something darker that at least one of you is aware of, even if it's not completely understood. Whats to become of her, and dealing with this is far from known at this point. Time is against you, and so is the world.
Logs will be available shortly.
It was great, even if I didn't get to play too much, .
Watching was fun, playing was fun, and it was all well done. I completely forgot who everyone was, they were that in character.
Especially you, Mr. P! I actually had forgot till the very end, I thought I remembered who you were playing, but I said to myself, "No way..."

Lashanna probably says this to all the girls:Especially you, Mr. P! I actually had forgot till the very end, I thought I remembered who you were playing, but I said to myself, "No way..."
And just think, you haven't met the wifey yet.
And I think Rorret loves him something feirce.
quote:Not if we all agree to play this weekend. But Faeth hasn't even set up the poll on the Aleria board yet.
Elethi's fortune cookie read:
Damn, and we have to wait 2 weeks for this?
FaeFae issa great DM. Everything was playing out in my head really vividly.

*grins!* Thankya. I try.
Lord Severlain - Young, and quite attractive noble, of lands that were never really specified. He is Rose's brother, and is in charge of escorting her and the "Desert Rose" to Dorin to be destroyed. He is currently deceased, as he was killed in the second attack on the Caravan while the party was out searching the desert. He was more of the charming variety of nobles, and seemed to genuinely have a heart. His last bit of information to the group was that the second attack on the Caravan was by a Mage in black robes, with severly scarred face and a mocking laugh. Also that the Lady Rose was abducted during this attack.
The Lady Rose - At first you knew nothing more than she was probably the most beautiful woman most of you had ever seen. She was caring, kind, and compassionate, tending to your wounds and helping where she could. She was mute, by choice you later learned, because of the curse of the "Desert Rose" and the implications of that. You have learned she is tied to the cursed jewel, and that it is the sole charge of Lady Rose. After having dealt with the "alluring" powers of the jewel, at least Kardan and Balkor understood more of what they were facing. This also brought about the explaination of the Jewel's origins, and just what you face should it fall into the wrong hands. Rose is Lord Severlain's sister, and loves him dearly.
Weinermar Shifty Eye, and Abin - Two sneaky, and quite loathesome individuals, one of which took an uncomfortable interest in Jade. They were, or so it seemed, simple traders and part of the Caravan to Dorin. Since Dorin is an extremely closed door society, not many are ever aloud in. The only real way is with a scheduled Caravan long in advance, in most cases. Or extreme circumstances. So they were part of the party, in order to supposedly trade thier wares. As it turns out, they were nothing more than pety thieves waiting for the right oppurtunity to steal the "Rose", which came in the form of a frontal attack by blighted gnolls. During the confusion, they snatched the jewel and made thier way back across the desert with thier prize. You later managed to find both thier mangled remains when a strange new set of tracks met up with the ones you had been following. Whatever had done that, most assuredly wasn't human, and in some form or another, you have learned, could travel.
There are other NPC's such as the cruel Deputy from the Prison, that you don't know much about, or aren't really noteworthy enough to list. These are the manin ones to remember, and some that will probably be added later on.
And once again, GRIP failed to get the logs right. I went to go find them and it looks like the auto-log function is broken, and I'll need to manually set it from now on. Gonna make it rough when I need to fill Abbi in, but I guess it can't be helped. Im sure some of you have pretty good memories at any rate, and if not someone can keep you up to speed on things until we get a good set of working logs. I believe the players can save logs through IPC as well.
The man known as Lairus.
He was a handsome man, and he just felt "familiar" in a way. He seemed to know more about each of you, that he possibly should, and more about the situation in general than at least Kardan would like. He originated this little sidequest, and it appears wasn't completely truthfull in what it entailed. He also made sure there were failsafes to ensure you completed the task. He promised explainations should you complete the task, and return to Warrendale where you started. Other than that however, he was mostly a mystery. He also arranged your freedom, under mysterious circustances. You are almost certain you will meet him again, he just left that impression.
Also has anyone heard from Abbi? Im gonna need to get her up to speed on things, or know if she'll even be around.
