Okie..bit off topic, I know..but does anyone know of a good place I can go (something like Geocities but without the junk pages or Moonfruit but without the cost) that provides decent web page space for free? Ive been using AOL up till now for my role play pages, but aparently they're not liking me anymore for whatever reason, 'cause they've taken down my pages for a second time. Nothing bad in them..Just stats and stuff for a character I play on AOL. *shrug* Anyway..so..um..lil' help 'ere please?

Go through your provider.

If AOL is your provider, get a new provider, and go through them. AOL sucks.

Thats the problem..If I go through another provider, then 'rents might get rid of AOL, and thats what Im using for role playing. ROFL. Mmph..lesse..Anyone know if Angelfire is any good for hosting?

I'm using Tripod. They do adds, usually at the top of each page, but you can override them if necessary. I only do that when I'm using frames, so they still get their happy fun ads on my frameless pages, and everybody's happy.

Geocities has adds too, but they're just a little pop-up in the corner that you can close pretty easily (and unlike the separate window pop-ups, they won't spawn 1000 windows).

Any and every free webhosting service has ads in some form. Just find the one with the ads that are the least annoying.

As per angelfire, unless you are making webpages, they suck. Try to link to any file but a .htm(l) seperatly and they'll shut down yer account.
