I really want a GameBoy ADVANCE game, but an EXTREMELY good GameBoy or GameBoy Color game would work.
Games I'm thinking about:
Advance:
Color:
Sports games are out automatically, and fighting games are only considered if OTHERWORLDLY good.
If you suggest a game, please suggest why.

*Sonic advance isn't that great. I'd advise against it.
*MM;BN I DO advise. It has a childish look, but it is very deep, and well done. The chip system is really pwnage.
*BOF: If you played the SNES version, don't bother. If you haven't, you might want to invest in it.
* BOF2: Ditto, I think.
*Golden Sun: Go for it. It's kinda short, but it's appealing, and it's decently paced.
I also suggest Lufia.

I loved the old Sonic games on the genesis, the screenshots I've seen of Sonic Advance look a bit too cartoony, but I figured the gameplay might more than make up for it.
I love anything and everything MegaMan
I've only played BoF 3 and 4 on PSX, liked them a lot.(I have BoF on a GBA emulator though, cause it came in the package when I downloaded it and C: CotM(Which I own))
Screenshots of Golden Sun looked good.
I played the Original Lufia a long time ago, but got stuck and didn't get very far, so I dunno how much I'd like it.

Densetsu had this to say about Reading Rainbow:
I'm not really interested in a shooter for GB.
It's not a shooter, it's Doom
Doom is the lego blocks that all shooters were made with

There was much rejoicing when Lenlalron said this:
MM BN. It's megaman, with decent RPG elements! You win!

Densetsu painfully thought these words up:
I know what doom is and doom is a shooter. Doom was also crappy on SNES, it'll probably be crappy on GBA.
Quite the opposite. GBA DooM r0xx0rz.

Golden Sun is completely new, and a good looking RPG on top of that. It's also cheaper.
MMBN apparently doesn't have turn-based combat, which counts against it since I thought it was an RPG, really, though it's probably good in its own right.
BoF I can do without.

The logic train ran off the tracks when Densetsu said:Golden Sun
Only if you want to have the first part in an epic GBA adventure.
In other words...the Ending is kinda a false ending, and it leads up to the next game.
Other than that, It's an amazing game [ 03-27-2002: Message edited by: Red Mage ]

The only problem IS THAT GOLDEN SUN IS TOO FREAKING SHORT.
You can take your tike and beat the game in 15 hours. I think you can blow through it in 10.

Basically, you decide on 30 "chips" or abilities you want to use in battle.. like, use a wave, summon a monserish type thing, break a block, etc..
The feild is a 3x9 grid. Ya shoot stuff along the rows with your blaster, and use stuff with A. certain enemies need xxx attack to be effective, some you can just blow up with the blaster, etc. Its neat.
One thing I found silly about it though: Its story is based around a japanese child who cant find his way out of a wet paper bag. He needs his pet (MegaMan) To tell him *EVERYTHING*. Other then that, Its pretty challenging, and I enjoyed it about as much as Golden Sun.
I recommend holding off on Golden sun till its oh so obvious sequel comes out, then get both and pwn. Your choice.
hehehe... it never gets old... for me anyways...

Think of Karn! Gobi! Mooooooooooguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
In BOF 1, Bo and Bleu were the two coolest characters, although Karn did have more style than Bo.
