Will being a rogue (I've never played one) in EQ make you wealthy in pp? I guess my real question is, which class has the most earning potential?

Guess who needs cash?

Pickpocketing rogues are often looked down upon, and if the group allows you to do it, you could have killed it with any other class and looted the body afterwards...

No. Rogues make absolutely no money.

Pickpocketing rogues, frowned upon... bah. Stupid groups. Just leave me be while I go pickpocket my Nightfall Giant heads.

Enchanters. The good ones always get tells to join seb groups, AE groups, and basically anywhere else l00t drops.

Magicians sure dont get tells out of the blue like "NEED magician in upper spiders!!" while in other zones.

Aye, Druid is probably your safest bet for Cash potential... Not to mention, they're great farmers and Powerlevelers...

They're mostly self sufficient (Heals, Buffs, and Forage for food and water), and Camping is made easier by things like Track and their solo-ability....
And they're also good Powerlevelers from things like their buffs, Thorns, Heals, etc....

Dad's going to kill you. Really. He is.

Necros. NOTHING compares to necros when it comes to farming giants.

Though in the end, it's NOT Necros or Druids that make big money. It's whoever is most needed in raids and therefore can ninja the most stuff.

Ok, I'll make a druid, it just seemed like everyone has one, I have a necro, but he's too low lvl to farm Giants. But the enchanter is a class that intrigues me, I may explore that route. But in any case, I can tell you that being a cleric is not the way to fame and fortune.

You'll never be rich as a blacksmithing paladin... even if you did get 2k for a suit of armor, you'll prolly just blow it on more smithing supplies or twink gear.

Yes, and for a good reason.

I believe in the existance of magic, not because I have seen proof of its existance, but because I refuse to live in a world where it does not exist.

Wrong.

Explanation? We have to buy gems for buffs, we're not great soloists, tanks get most of loot in groups. What am I missing?
