Clowns scare many people. They are loud, pushy, and the makeup makes it very hard to read their facial expressions. Thus, people don't deal with them easily. Some cope with this by laughing, others with fear.

Besides all that, they are also the spawn of the devil.

I believe in the existance of magic, not because I have seen proof of its existance, but because I refuse to live in a world where it does not exist.

Clowns need to be thouroughly washed of all make-up before becoming fit for consumption, otherwise any methods used for cooking humans apply. They're not so scary when they're roasted, eaten and digesting in your tummy.

Anyone seen Scary Movie 2? "Unca Ray-Ray's got a fun game too!"...heh, the (un)appropriate way for that boy in Poltergeist to deal with the clown.
