Where/what can I hunt, and whats quests can I do?
Also, if anyone on torv has a Robe laying aroud, I would be willing to take it off your hands.

I will assume that you have NOTHING AT ALL.
First, summon yourself some food and a weapon. Go out and kill rats and snakes in the newbie area till you can get a malachite (sp?) to summon a pet with.
Invis yourself, and head for the Halas newbie area. Make a pet there (any will do, but I suggest Water or Fire) and start killing for pelts and spiderling silk. Kill Gnoll pups too, some may have containers.
If you don't know taloring, sell the pelts. Otherwise, turn them into containers and patchwork armor. Sell extra stuff to afford more malachite. Once you feel fairly equiped, go into Blackburrow. Hunt there till you have enough cash to work with. Buy some cloth armor, and head out to East Karana.
Hunt Carrion spiders there, and save the silk. When the Carrion spiders turn green, hunt Crag Spiders (tougher, more silk). Water pets work well for spider hunting, due to the poison.

Indeed. At his level, EK is the place to go.
What level do you think mages should be to safely solo those heartspiders? I allways intended to check them out, but I don't know anything about Guk.
If you are on good faction with froggies, they wont assist the spiders. There is 2 rooms with them. One has 3 spiders(fairly easy to single pull) the other "big ones" have 2 to 3 spiders each.
Get a map, VERy important. You WILL get lost if you dont have one hehe.(well maybe only I get lost in there).
