2. a table top version of EQ is stupid.
Example: A digital version of the tabletop game is MUCH easier to play, no rolling, no DM... Oh and did I mention? IT ALREADY EXISTS. Working in reverse to make a game more difficult is just plain damn silly.
Of course all of this is opinion.
So yes it does have something to do with D&D, just not core D&D. It's not like saying "Greyhawk, Norrath, and Faerun are the three biggest D&D campaign settings"
It's sort of like the Diablo/Diablo 2 RPG stuff that was released a while back, except that was handled by WOTC, whereas this is being handled by S&S.
