Finding a portable MP3 player for under $25 American is impossible.

Sorry.

I believe the Rio CD MP3 player is also a good choice.

I do have a Panasonic Shockwave that does that...but not MP3 files themselves...

In other words, I'm looking for a player that allows Hours of music on one cd to be played...I saw a nice one at $200 american in September's Wired issue (the we love Japan issue) It looks sweet

I have the Rio MP3 Player..and it has yet to let me down. 's a purty good player..well, I like it at least, and it lasts. Fairly cheap too. I got mine for $100..and then got the memory card for at least 'nother $100. Those things [memory cards] are heaven sent. Trust me..Put on in the Player, and theres no song you cant put on there. *nod nod*

I like my RCA Lyra.

Takes MP3 and RA G2 format (G2 is smaller, more music). Uses CF cards so you can carry a whole collection of music in a very small space.

I paid $250 for mine (with 1 64mb card) over 2 years ago. I recently bought 2 more cards for $40 each through thinkgeek.com
