Obidil, former Allied Fools officer, has left to form his own guild, taking almost all our members with him. Apparently displeased with my leadership. All these years, then... boom. I'm... lost. What do I do now? Do I have anyone left? Oh god... did I really do that badly... oh GOD...

Hey, it happens. I've been a guild leader for two and a half years now. We have split twice at least. The guild has still survived. If you truly belive that you are doing the best you can then there is nothing you can do. You just have to keep going. If you do the guild will be there. If you have any doubts then change. In the end the guild is only as strong as it's leader.

No matter how well you do Fred, someone else is always going to think they can do better. They might even get people to think it too.

That doesnt mean they are.

There is always a guild out there that would love your company. Just snoop around, join raids, see whats shaken in some guilds that are based around your lvl.

I can't say I know how you feel...

But I can offer this, you or any other members of the Allied Fools are welcomed to join the Dark Knights. Just email/PM me a roster of who you have left and I'll see what I can do.

Even though I haven't played my character much lately, I am STILL an Allied Fool.

Well... I've still got some loyal Fools... *looks hopefully at Kenn* And I pray we'll hold together. After all, when we started we had only 10.

sigh

And I guess it's pointless to whine about Tracy. She's given up communications. The bridge is charcoal. Damn. Well, people keep telling me there's plenty more fish in the sea... and I've potentially doubled my catch since last time I had out a net...

Could be worse. But it's a bugger.

Yeah. Feels just as bad to log in and realize that all your old friends don't play or exist anymore. Sorry.
Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

If it makes you feel better i found out my "wife" was really a man, and he sold his account without even telling me.

My guild, the Raging Boars. Ah. Those were the days.

we were infamous for shouting "GO BOARS!!" into a zone and getting at least four replies. We were the most stick-together, family like guild on Prexus.

Then, we decided to involve ourselves in a massive guild merger. Us, and five other smaller guilds merged to form Infinitus Vindicat.

Arguments, strangers, retarded guild name, friends leaving in frustration. It just didn't feel the same.

But I stuck with the guild. I made new friends. I went out of my way to help them just like I did my old Boars.

Today, the guild is the Raging Boars and more. While it doesn't have the family atmosphere a small guild brings, we're all good friends, and we're a powerful force on the server. We've taken down Trak more times in a week than any other guild on the server - maybe more than any other guild period. We've taken a single raiding party to more consecutive raids in one day than any other guild on the server.

What I'm getting at is, you can always make the best of things. More often than not, it turns out all right.

Maradon's right. I was an officer in a small RP guild, Covenant of Lore, with a cool server-wide rep. There weren't ever more than 60 of us, but folks knew us and trusted us.

Well, the issue with RP guild is eventually people level up and move on. So we slowly died and finally disbanded in the fall.

Now I am part of the Order of Seibwen, another guild with a grwat rep. I'm no longer an officer, but I am having more fun than I did when I was. It's been very refreshing and has extended my EQ-playing days.

Trust me, search earnestly and you'll figure out where to land next, or how to make the Fools rise again.
