Ah the good ol' days, eh? I've been playing through Chrono Trigger again.. For the longest while I was all dissapointed because I couldnt beat the goelm twins.. Heh, forgot that Luminere + Antipode 3 pretty much kicks the living crap out of everything.

I honestly still cant believe I remember all the sekrit items and stuff hidden everywhere.. Its almost like a sixth sense. "I see items!"

Whats your favourite game to play through over and over? (No recent ones, neither!)

I disagree.

While Shining Force 2 DOES qualify as the SECOND GREATEST GAME ever... Shining Force 1 holds the title as the greatest.

Shining Force 1 embodies all that is good and awesome in gaming. A strategy RPG like FFT, only so much moreso. No pansy little 5 or 6 man parties. We're talking 12 full attackers, mages, knights, archers that don't suck, birdmen, a KICKASS dragon (BLEU KILLS ALL), a Centaur with a Bazooka... Lyle pwns.

SF1 is the pinnacle of awesomnimity.

Final Fantasy 3.

And yes, I'm going to call it that because it says so on the damn game cartridge.

I recently found shining force in a set of sega games for the computer I had forgotten how much fun that game was.

Favourite game to play over and over:

Final Fantasy Tactics.

It seems like no matter how many times I go through it, there's always a new set of jobs and skills to combine...

Favourite game of all time.

Golem Twins? I remember the single Golem being harder.

Just gotta avoid doing any physical damage.

I agree. But I fixed it. :P

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

Yeah, there is if you're using zSNES.

File > reset.

I was watching the earth, listning to the music thats associated with Chrono, hit "Reset", it said "are you sure" I said yes, came back, and viola, it said New Game. Not new game + So oh well.
I should save more often via the game, though.. that save state has spoiled me.

The problem with calling it FF3 is that there are two FF3s. The actual one released on the NES, and the renamed version of 6 for the SNES. For people "in the know," just saying FF3 is ambiguous.
If SOA had renamed it The Flaming Banana or something, then it wouldn't be a big deal; no matter what you called it, we would still know what game was being spoken of.

Anyway, if had my SNES hooked up right now, I'd probably be replaying Super Metroid.

Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.

Super Metroid and Act Raiser are two of my favs.. Every month or two, I'll go back and play 'em.

zSNES's ability to slow/speedup time really helps on those boss battles, hehe.

SF1 is the best.

SF2 is nearly there, but lacks the solidity that I found in SF1.

After that, I'd say privateer. Good god, that game was great. 100% open ended. Don't want to advance the plot? Trade a bit. Hunt Kilrathi. Hunt pirates. ANY. THING. YOU. WANT. God that was fun.

Blaster Master was fun, but after I beat it I found it had little to no replay value.

The FF series probably comes right after Privateer for me
