When I try to log on, it says "No 3d device detected" from just after the patcher. help?

Well, I redownloaded and installed DX8.1, and I'm having the same problem still.

Additionally, when I tested Direct3d in DXDiag, the test worked alright on the DX7 part, but when it got to DX8 tests, I got "Direct3D test results: Failure at step 5 (GetDeviceCaps): HRESULT = 0x8876086a (3D not available)"

help.

We had that exact same problem a while back. Of course we had several other problems so it resulted in re - installing Windows.

OUCH.

Guess what? Same thing with me.

I haven't played EQ in two months.

I don't think the Ragepro supports DX8 3D...

If you get it to work then BY ALL THE GODS, TELL ME HOW!
