Mom and Dad let it be known they could hear me and it turned me shy
But in the car when it's just me, I like to sing showtunes sometimes [ 01-20-2002: Message edited by: Lyinar ]

What? You haven't heard it?
Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's just the opposite. - John Kenneth Galbraith
I got revenge by pouring out her shampoo and filling the bottle with toothpaste.
Let's see...usually what I sing in the shower depends on what music I have going first thing in the morning. Lately it's been "We didn't start the fire".

I'm such a geek.
quote:
Lawgiver Cadga had this to say about Tron:
Luck be a lady toniiiiiiight!
Or in Cadga's case. Unluck be a lady tonight.
I be strokin'!
That's what I'm doin'
I be strokin'!
I stroke it to the east
I stroke it to the west
I stroke it to the girl that I love the best
I be strokin'!
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you
Love was made for me and you
Love was made for me and you
EDIT: Don't shoot me... but when I first heard the song, I mistook the voice for Frank Sinatra. **shrugs** Don't ask. Well, I know better now. But I do still have a tendancy to sing the song like Franky would have. [ 01-21-2002: Message edited by: Woody ]
I wrote her off for the tenth time today
And practice all the things I would say
But she came over
I lost my nerve
I took her back and made her dessert
Now I know I'm being used
That's okay man cause I like the abuse
I know she's playing with me
That's okay cause I got no self esteem
We make plans to go out at night
I wait till 2 then I turn out the light
All this rejection's got me so low
If she keeps it up I just might tell her so
When she's saying that she wants only me
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
When she's saying that I'm like a disease
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
Well I guess I should stick up for myself
But I really think it's better this way
The more you suffer
The more it shows you really care
Right? Yeah yeah yeah
Now I'll relate this little bit
That happens more than I'd like to admit
Late at night she knocks on my door
Drunk again and looking to score
Now I know I should say no
But that's kind of hard when she's ready to go
I may be dumb
But I'm not a dweeb
I'm just a sucker with no self esteem
In loving memory of their drummer, apparently he died a couple of weeks ago... i still haven't heard if it was true, but They're a fuckin great band!
Other times (like if I've been driving a lot with the music turned up) I'll sing some Linkin Park tidbits.

I have brought you
to the seat of sweet music's throne
to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music,
music ...
You have come here,
for one purpose, and one alone
Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me to serve me, to sing,
for my music
my music ...
(changing mood)
Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defences ...
Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to the music of the night ...
Close your eyes and surrender to your
darkest dreams!
Purge your thoughts of the life
you knew before!
Close your eyes,
let your spirit start to soar!
And you'll live
as you've never lived before ...
Softly, deftly,
music shall surround you ...
Feel it, hear it,
closing in around you ...
Open up your mind,
let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which
you know you cannot fight -
the darkness of the music of the night ...
Let your mind start a journey
through a strange new world!
Leave all thoughts
of the world you knew before!
Let your soul take you where you
long to be !
Only then can you belong to me ...
Floating, falling, sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me savour each sensation!
Let the dream begin,
let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write -
the power of the music of the night ...
You alone can make my song take flight -
help me make the music of the night . . .
I'll also sing "All I Ask of You" from Phantom as well. When I sing that, my 3 year old, who has heard that song as a lullabye all her life wants to come into the bathroom to sing with her daddy. I hear her singing bits of it outside the door between knocks. It's quite funny.

Demitri had this to say about dark elf butts:
And play air guitar while shaving.
That sounds difficult.
I tend to sing random punk songs, and also Dead Milkmen songs. Other times, I will sing songs from LoTR.
There was an old in, a Merry Old Inn...

Toothpaste is alright, but if ye want to be downright mean, use that igia wipe-away hair remover crap.
As for songs, generally its Schism (air guitar included)

If I feel like singing... It's definetly got to be Baby Got Back by Sirmixalot, Bootylicious by DC3, or Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguleira and all them.... Yes.... Call me a nazi if you want to but I still like those songs. ^_^
*Would've thought "Ba ba black sheep" would be the song of choice*

Tea Party songs. Mostly The Halcyon Days, Sister Awake and Mantra. Again, absolute perfect acoustics. Especially when I use my tummy as a drum.
Only one problem, though... I wanna dance to it but the shower is reeeeeally small and I have a tendency to slip.

The ending theme from Legend of Dragoon. The shower has the BEST acoustics for that thing.Tea Party songs. Mostly The Halcyon Days, Sister Awake and Mantra. Again, absolute perfect acoustics. Especially when I use my tummy as a drum.

LoL, you dance in the shower too?
I usually just belly dance... you dont slip as much that way.
I have a tiny shower too.. one of those closets with a spount and a drain. Only good thing about it is that I take hot showers, and it heats up so much in there that I dont have that problem you get where half of your body is cold while the other is warm, lol.
Sol's shower is too small to dance in but big enough to breakdance in on her butt?
*is imagining a pyramid shaped shower stall for some reason*
