I am not gay. I am however very flamboyant(sp?) at times. This has caused me to be accused of being gay. Oh well.
I am also very open about Gay Rights. Oh well. I find homophobic people repulsive. Unless they have a just reason, I find it very rude. Some of you are great friends with me. What if I happened to be gay? Would that change your stance on how you viewed me as another human being?
I could continue to rant but, I am tired.
Just my two cents.

Unfortunatly, I do not know Batty very well.
I don't wish to fall out of grace with anyone. It's 12:00 here, I've been studying for exams (nervous about them) and am having troubles with someone, not to mention a few other family related issue. I was (with reason) in the mental swing of things to get angry quickly. So I jumped to conclusions. If they could still please clarify themselves I'd feel alot better. Sorry for jumping on the offensive.

Choosing what seems right in your heart is the only way to be honest with yourself. It is not my right to judge or condemn another person for his/her decisions. Love is a hard thing to find. If a person prefers to seek love within someone of the same sex, then so be it. I say, more power to them.

I don't criticize homosexuals collectively, but there are a few homosexuals that I criticize on an individual level.

For instance, one thing that sorta bothered me about this person was that for about a month she decided it was her quest to make everyone realize they were gay. Think about how many people consider homosexuality something to be "fixed," and then tell me whether or not that just sounds dumb. You don't combat blind opposition to your viewpoint by blind opposition to the viewpoint of those against you. Doesn't work.
So, I'm fine with people's lifestyles as long as they don't consider them a gift to be given to everyone. That works both ways.
Oh god, and don't ask how she tried to "convince" people. It just ain't right.

Oz's teacher told him tonight, apparently, that he's a homosexual. They'd been palling around and it came up.
Now then...it's not a matter of the homosexuality issue making me think of a wiseass comment.
If Ozius were a girl, same teen age Ozius is, and came in to say "Gee I was hanging out with my teacher and he confided in me that he has certain sexual needs..." I would have reacted the same way.
TEACHERS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BROACH THE TOPIC OF THEIR OWN SEXUALITY WITH STUDENTS. You can get fired for that shit. That's like one of the first things they tell you when you study to be a teacher. If you encounter a student with homosexual feelings, heterosexual feelings, feelings for their dog, whatever...you can counsel them, and try to help them make an intelligent, rational, and informed choice about their feelings. Teachers are supposed to fit in something a hazy area. Their personal/private lives are not to be mixed with their professional lives. Yeesh.
Is it earth shattering? No. But it's wonky enough that it's that weird, possibly uncomfortable sort of "Family Guy" type humor.
I have several homosexual friends who I think the world of, some not even a part of this community. I've known people much weirder to me than homosexuals and I'm still their friend. And I feel very insulted by you, Frank, that I have to defend my position with such cliched comments in light of your accusations.

Correction: public school teachers ain't supposed to talk to their kids about their personal lives because public schools are into the "IF WE OFFEND SOMEBODY THE WORLD WILL END" mentality.
